I work for the mentally disabled we would take our clients here often for burgers and milkshakes. They pay for their food out of their own money, we just have to handle the transactions for them. Because of this we need to make separate orders and keep track of receipts. This has never been an issue until today. The girl with the massive attitude at the intercom told me they don't do separate orders at the drive through and that I would have to go to the stall. I told her the last time I went to the stall they wouldn't give me separate receipts and told me I need to use the drive through for that.....so which it? She just kept repeating herself like am annoyed robot on a power trip. So, what? You want me to keep doing laps around the store for each person. I'm not doing that, especially with 3-4 people in the van. Asking for separate receipts is not even an unreasonable request. Its a super easy request to honor. Definitely not a request warranting the attitude I received. The request isn't simply to inconvenience your employees or to be a jerk. There's a legitimate reason for it that we caregivers cannot deviate from. Might as well just announce that you don't serve disabled people. That's what it amounts to. That's what the disabled community and the industry at large will see. All over a couple receipts and snotty drive...
Read moreWe visit almost daily for their flavored soda at happy hour that we really enjoy. Reciently new management and employees has slowed down the service significantly. Our drive up wait has been up to a 20 minute wait normally it is around 5 minutes. Once the line was long at 4:45pm when we drove up. We knew we would not make the happy hour that ended at 5pm if we stayed in line. So we parked in a stall instead. We still were not served in time for the happy hour prices and left without our soda when the car hop told us we did not make the deadline. 🙁. We felt it was their lack of speed. Maybe there is a need for more employees, but it is getting old. We are looking for a new favorite soda stop. It is just as well. I am aware of the detriment of using the styrofoam cups. Maybe in Arizona they are more appropriate. I know They are not necessary here when we are rarely above 80 degrees. At the minimum styrofoam should only be used in summer. Styrofoam used to be a sign of quality in the take out world. Now styrofoam use is a sign of selfish neglect of our use of plastics in our suffering world and oceans. I am just ashamed that it took slow service to get us to quit Sonic instead of the use of styrofoam. We should have stopped going there years ago when we first became aware styrofoam...
Read moreWe placed an order online at 12:24pm to pick up our order ASAP. We got there around 12:40pm. I checked into stall 3 and waited 10 minutes as the online status said that our order was being made. We waited about another 10 minutes and I pushed the button of the stall to check in on my order. They had asked me more than once if I placed my order at the correct location. I let them know the address that I ordered. The employee told me they had not seen my order come through yet. The manager then got on the intercom and asked me to wait a few minutes for the order to go through. She apologized and states that the online ordering and the actual store were like two different animals and they had nothing to do with it. I then wait about another 7 minutes. I check in and I was told my order just got in and they were getting it ready and it was going to take 1-2 minutes. We waited for another 5 minutes and the food and drinks finally came out. It has now been almost an hour. All I got was an apology from the manager. Let’s just say I do NOT recommend ordering online. We will not be back for a...
