My party of 6 went around 10:00pm last night to get some milkshakes. There were a few other parties ahead of us and the cash register area was a bit cluttered with people waiting.
When our time arrived, we put in our order and everything went fine with it. We received the order# 2135 and move out of the way to wait with the other customers for the food. A few minutes later, the worker "Archie" began conversing with a customer that turned out to be his mother, but that is no big deal. However, he started explaining a customer interaction to her that happened earlier in the day, or perhaps a previous day, but in a manner that was loud enough for everyone waiting to witness it. In the story being recounted to mom, Archie was more or less degrading the customer due to that customer's behavior, which evolved into demonstrating that Archie had quite a bit of rage and contempt in him. He made a customer wait the two minutes or so while he told this story of frustration to his mom.
After that, everyone seemed to be waiting quite a while as the (what looked to be mostly milkshakes) came out one by one. The female employee brought them out to the front and called the milkshakes by their name, such as "Heath Bar", instead of by the order number on the receipt. This was rather annoying due to the large number of people waiting for their orders. There could have been many people waiting for a Heath milkshake, for all we know. So we had to continuously combat the uncertainty of the orders coming out. This led to Archie, on at least two occasions, to show rage at that female employee and basically call her incompetent. Archie's mom witnessed this unsatisfactory display of emotion and scorned him, asking him to cut it out.
Lastly, one person in our party never got their milkshake and we had to express that we were still waiting on it about 20 minutes later, so they quickly made it and brought it out, then we left.
I don't think I will go back, based on how poorly managed the...
Read moreEDIT: Revisited this restaurant on 01/03/04. On my way home and was hungry, but unfortunately everything is closed. Hoping for a different experience and only got worse. The order taker cashier was desperately in need of training because she was rude and cut me off mid-sentence. I ordered the 2 hotdog tray, cajun fries and a quesadilla. My gosh, the hot dog had barely enough ketchup or mustard and it was hard to find the slaw. On top of that, the bun was extra hard almost to a crunch! The 6 cajun fries were NOT cajun and were regular fries that was not fully cooked. The quesadilla was burnt to almost beyond recognition. It's often been said that the definition of insanity was doing something over and over again expecting different results. So, to keep from going insane, I will patronize another restaurant and leave this one to others who have lower expectations of good food and a good customer service experience.
I usually stop here when I have a taste for a hotdog because there’s not many other fast food restaurants that serve them. The food is mediocre and slightly satisfies a craving. The line is usually extra long and it takes what seems like forever to order and receive your food. Thankfully the order taker/cashier is usually pretty friendly and...
Read moreUnfortunately I had to experience slow and rude service all in one today at lunch! Some of us only get 30 minutes to complete a meal break while working. After waiting 25 minutes in line (only 1 car in front of me) I was in a rush to get moving for work. The drive thru worker went to hand me my food and asked, "Do you need any sauce?" No biggie, I replied, "No, I just need the food, I gotta get moving." She proceeded to flip out on me to say, "Hey if you don't like the wait then go somewhere else because we are short staffed." Who talks to customers like that after making them wait for half and hour for fast food? There is a curb forcing you to stay in the line once in, I would have left 10 minutes ago if I could! I asked for her name and to grab her manager and she shut the window like that would solve the problem. I went inside and spoke to Chassidy Williams who was very understanding, but also refused to give out the workers name. Upper management needs to have a way to hold people accountable when they misbehave like children, which is why I requested the name, that was a ridiculous turn of events over a bad transaction. So the time is 12:44pm on 1/2/2024 for anyone who cares to see. I'll call corporate as well to lodge...
