THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY… starting with the GOOD, the two gentlemen that took and cooked the order were extremely personable, cheerful and obliging. The BAD AND THE UGLY…we ordered a Stromboli with the worst crust I have ever had on a Stromboli. It was soggy and had a weird texture. Additionally, even the toppings in the Stromboli did not have a great taste. (I won’t make any inferences regarding their pizza because we did not order it.). This place is really designed for a quick to go lunch or a family on a tight budget that is willing to compromise. We are locals and have always found their competitor Cosmos to be extremely good. As for portion sizes, my picture shows a large Stromboli. My husband and I made almost 3 meals out of it. It is huge! As far as pricing, the huge Stromboli +2 drinks cost almost $50. It had one extra topping in addition to the two they throw in for free. I highly suggest skipping this place if you are a Stromboli connoisseur.

We were excited to go here because of the rave reviews. Maybe our experience differed because we arrived 30 minutes before closing. The pizza was subpar at best. The sauce was used sparingly. The highlight was the wings!! I usually don’t like wings at pizza joints BUT these lemon pepper wings were perfection and the highlight of the meal. I would definitely go back for the wings.

Busy place! But very quick and friendly staff. We ordered 5 pizzas, and cheese bread. The pizzas were all fresh and hot. They seem to use quality toppings, and possibly 00 flour in the dough. The crust is thin and chewy, but not cracker like. Perfect! The Gluten free pizza was also really good. Highly recommend the pepperoni pizza, as well as the Hawaiian pizza, add bacon.

Our first night in Corolla for this year's family vacation, we ordered Lucky's Pizza for dinner. I placed the order online at 6:19 PM and the emailed confirmation said it would be ready at 7:24 PM. We arrived around 7:20 and the pizza wasn't ready. After checking in twice, they said it would be another 15 minutes. After 7:45, they told me it would be going in the oven soon. I was in the store until 8:30 PM when our pizzas were finally ready. We only ordered 4, and orders of 8+ pizzas were being sent out and the ticket numbers were higher than mine. When our order was finally brought out, I overheard one cashier tell another employee that I waited 2 hours for my pizza (they knew it took too long). The person who brought my pizza apologized, took down my name, and told me they'd reimburse part of the order for a discount due to my wait. My account did not show any reimbursed discount. If we come back to Corolla, we'll go elsewhere for our pizza on the...

Have been stopping here for at least the last three summers. Have not had any issues in the past. Had heard that the ownership had changed. Whether or not that is the reason, I found the food to be not as good as in previous years. Ordered two medium pizzas and garlic parmesan wings. Lucky's does serve thin crust pizza, which I have no problem with. However, one pizza was fine, the other was very crispy, or should I say hard, to point of almost being inedible. Enjoyed the sauce on the wings, but the wings were dried out/overcooked. Placed the order by phone. Everyone that I talked to on the phone and at the restaurant when picking up the order was friendly. Order was ready at the time specified when the order was placed. Note that they apparently will not accept advance orders (i.e. ordering at 2:00 for a 5:00 pickup), at least by phone. (Not sure if that holds true for online ordering.) You have to order and just hope that the wait time won't...
