The Fudgery — Restaurant in Corolla

I got completely scammed. I was told by the woman at the counter that ordering only one piece of fudge would be wasting her time, and she requested I purchase another. Upon picking out another flavor I was told that if I buy two I get a third one free, and she told me to pick yet another flavor. This turned out to be a blatant lie, I was charged for all three. Went there because I was told they made their own ice cream but the staff said it’s Hershey store bought ice cream, with a hearty price tag! They make their own cones supposedly but the cost is high. We tasted the ice creams and were not impressed at all. Their home made fudge looked great! I just cannot support a shop that has unreasonably high prices. They obviously want to take advantage of tourist! I suppose the wealthy don’t have a problem paying $$$$$ for a simple cone! Not everyone at OBX is...

Spending the week in Corolla and found this place in a shopping center. Would not recommend. They have a special—buy 3 (half pound bricks) get one free. They pick from rock hard, old pieces for the free piece. Had to just toss that one out, it was so bad. So not a great deal at all.
