Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Corona

I gave this Corona location 2 stars because the service here is almost non existent. We were the only people in line and in the shop. We stood in the order area in front of the girl who was preparing the bread and meat. She was clearly completing online orders however she did not acknowledge us at all. Not even a Hello or How can I help u? After waiting for several minutes I had to ask her if I could order. I then waited for the next person to assist with the rest of the sandwich but no one came. I again had to ask if someone could come and help. I also had other people in my party and had to ask if they could be helped as well because they were no getting any help. I'm sorry but $20/hr to work here is completely over rated. Food is good, service is terrible at this location. I'm not asking for much because it's just a sandwich shop but simple greetings go a long way for customers. ARRIVED AT THIS LOCATION ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON RIGHT BEFORE A LUNCH RUSH SO IT WAS NEAR EMPTY. MY DAUGHTER WAS NOT AS SILENT AS THEIR FEMALE EMPLOYEE WOULD HAVE PREFERRED CAUSING HER TO WIDEN HER EYES AND ROLL THEM TOWARDS MY HUSBAND.

THE EMPLOYEES ALSO WERE NOT ORGANIZED OR WELL WITH COMMUNICATION. WE WERE NOT SURE WHO WAS MAKING OUR SANDWICHES (I HAD ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES BUT I WAS IGNORED BY THE FEMALE EMPLOYEE WHO PRIOR ROLLED HER EYES, LEADING HER COWORKER WHO WAS WORKING ON OTHER ORDERS TO RESPOND TO MY QUESTION.) SHE WAS ALSO SWAPPING BREAD SLICES AROUND AMONGST THE OTHER ORDERS.. MY FINAL CONCERN IS THE EMPLOYEES WERE USING A BREAD KNIFE TO CUT THEIR SANDWICHES THEN PLACING THE USED KNIFE ON THE COUNTER WITHOUT WIPING THE KNIFE DOWN TO USE AGAIN. We were just trying to swing by and grab a munch before our big game we traveled hours for. We were met with the rudest customer service I have ever laid eyes on. My friend asked for a simple ham and provolone sandwich, which came heated up, only to be met with a 20 minute wait that included asking at least 5 times, and receiving the wrong sandwich twice. She was on the verge of tears out of hunger and was treated very poorly to the point where she was afraid to go up and ask for her food. After mustering up the courage to go up to the counter, she was met with an eye roll and the employee responded with “I hate my job” before storming away in anger.
