Our Happy Place Cafe - Inside Alexander's Salon and Spa — Restaurant in Corona

We were a little skeptical going into an actual salon for breakfast, but it is definitely worth a little awkwardness: "Um we're here for uh..the cafe?" The food was incredible and the service was amazing too. Our server was attentive and when she found out my dietary preferences she made sure that everything I was thinking about getting was what I needed, without me even asking, and even gave more suggestions. What I ended up getting was the Roasted Corn Avocado Bagel, and added soy chorizo to it. Oh my god. Best decision ever. It was messy as hell because of the soy crumbles, but I knew it would be, and our server was kind enough to warn me ahead of time in case I didn't already know. My boyfriend got one of the breakfast burritos, and we both bit in at the same time and were totally wowed. I think this might be our new bimonthly breakfast spot! Definitely recommend for vegans or vegetarians, as well...

I was really hesitant walking into a spa and salon to find a restaurant, but I was quite pleasantly surprised. The space is large and well ventilated so it doesn't have that salon smell I expected. The cafe is tucked into a corner down the right side.

The food was excellent. It's made to order and worth a little wait. They don't have a lot of seats, but the turn over is fairly quick. Their peach lemonade was delicious. They also have a strong vegetarian selection, and the option to turn other dishes into vegetarian ones.

The best part, however was the hostess/server. Maria (?) Was an absolute doll, friendly and knowledgeable, completely in love with the place and it shows. She was a bit of sunshine and made the whole experience comfortable and welcoming.

Highly recommend, but go early. They are small and will run...

So happy I found this place. The main points, excellent service and perfectly prepared food. I was recently getting new tires on the car and looking for a place to eat. Felt a little weird asking the salon receptionist if there was a restaurant in the building, but she was friendly and directed me to the spot in the back. Saying I'm not talkative is an understatement, but the owner or waitress I placed my order was adept at creating conversation and had an easy, happy personality.
