Poki Cafe — Restaurant in Corona

I am super bummed. I went with this place because of the reviews, but unfortunately, I was less than pleased with the bowl I got. I ordered a small fish bowl and it was SMALL. I ordered it for pickup, so I was not there to see it made, but the scoops are TINY. The cuts of fish are TINY. I spent $18 and I feel like I got a side salad. I am on a limited diet, so I cannot fill up by bowl with all the fun stuff, but when I have ordered at other places, I still feel like I am getting my money worth. Unfortunately, the avocado on the top was rotted. The ahi is fishy tasting compared to other Ahi I have had as well. Just overall sad that this bowl was not what I wanted it to be. The vibe inside was so nice. The person behind the counter was friendly. The bag had my name written on it all cute. Based on all the other reviews, this place must be doing things right, but I just got a dud. I ate the bowl after removing the bad avocado. Aside from the ahi, the other ingredients tasted good. The salmon was nice and buttery. Watch out, the chili oil is a bit hotter than I have had it at other locations (a little goes a long way). I am not necessarily saying NOT to go here, but I think it is worth it to be there in person when you order and to also know that your fish scoops are going to be really small. If you are ok with paying for more scoops, that might be the ticket. I just was not pleased with the price point for how little fish...

Poki Cafe is my favorite poki and boba shop in Corona. They combine fresh fish with solid side options for a really flavorful and customizable poki experience. I'm also a big fan of their poki burrito option made with pink soy paper. It's a great choice when you want to be able to enjoy all the flavors of poki on the go. Prices are perhaps a little high here though I think they're comparable to other poki spots in the area and the freshness for me has never disappointed. Poki Cafe is also a favorite family stop for boba. Good stuff all...

Pros: Seems like a cute little family ran spot Was very accommodating Fresh good quality fish

Cons: Missed my avocado add-on Ordered Wasbi Mayo and there was way too much... the food was not enjoyable Seems like they don't necessarily want people sitting down to eat
