🎃ctober 14, 2022 Hipsters who are seasoned, and new hipsters alike, will enjoy Baco, kindly read on... The food was superb, which tastefully complements our shamefully chic-restaurant-starved area. Prices perhaps 5% more than a decent steak house. Worth it! The servers are friendly and genuinely Smiled. The ambience of well appointed, pink, accent lighting, clean white leather seating, exquisite cherry blossom trees & black light chalk art inside really revitalizes ones mood. Yet the icing on the cake was the DJ, spinning & mixing the jams, on this particular date. You see, he played 70's hits, the likes of Fleetwood Mac & John Denver much welcomed to my kind, but sauce-fully mixing 70's hits with an inviting - not overpowering or loud bass. All the while decorating his musical genius with attractive, intriguing treblized sounds, cleverly committing to the new hipsters. You know, like a Disney movie whose plot holds the adult's attention, who pay$, with cartoon characters keeping kids glued to their seats! So yeah, the place is a tight package. Note to owners, I wouldn't change a thing, you killed it 😉 And thank you for that. Kind regards, William

Fast service, great servers. Food we had was good. Chilaquiles (chips a a but soggy for our preference, but still good) and Breakfast burrito (their menu states one price, the bill showed a higher price. They do have additional 3% fee they add to apparently every the bill to cover costs of the worker's cleaning tables and cooking, this fee is also taxed on your bill. Overheard another couple taking about the fee and they said they just reduced the waitress's tip. They have a nice bar area and probably make some great drinks. There was a DJ there for the breakfast time, not sure if that's normal, but the music wasn't too bad, definitely for younger crowd. It was very loud inside and outside with the music and patrons having to talk very loudly to communicate at their tables. Was so loud with chatter, felt like I was in the cafeteria in high school. Every plate i saw passing us by looked delicious, i would definitely give this place a try if you're in the area. This place seems line it would get very busy, they appear to take reservations so highly recommend making a reservation.

Update #2: We enjoyed dinner and cocktails at Baco Wine and Grill on 9/22/20.  The food was delicious, presentation was beautiful and we enjoyed a nice selection of cocktails. We visited during COVID outside dining only. Baco has done a wonderful job of adapting and making your outdoor, sidewalk dining experience a unique one; grass/carpet is out for a VIP experience, nice set up of tables & chairs, upbeat music is streaming and staff is friendly and efficient.  The food menu is small, but mighty with a wide range of options despite the limited # of items. Nice variety of wines, beers and signature cocktails. All in all, I am happy to see this new restaurant open and doing well in Corona/Dos Lagos despite the current struggles during COVID.  We will definitely give this place another try.

This is an update to my previous review. Although I have not yet visited again, I do want to say that I very much appreciate that the business reached out to right my negative experience. I will definitely be giving Baco Wine and Grill another chance. ...and once I do, I will once again update this review.

Website says "coming soon". Google says "open" 7 days a week w/ daily hours. No one ever answers the phone # listed on google. No # listed on website. I was in town visiting family a couple weeks ago and saw this place and was excited to try it next time I was in town. For a week straight I continued checking website and calling the # listed at different times during the day with no success. A family member drove by to verify if they were open on a Sunday and he said they were! He even mentioned it looked busy (outside dining due to COVID). I was so excited to try it that I asked a girlfriend to go to dinner with me the following day and we drove all the way there to find them closed!!!! No signage posted with hours, no one answering the phone # and no recording with hours. Poor business plan for sure! In the current times of restaurants struggling to make ends meet and to comply with the ever changing restrictions forced upon them, why on earth would a business have such poor planning, poor advertising and lack of hours posted/updated and no good contact...

TLDR Treated us like unwanted guests, couldn't get simple drinks right, very expensive uninspired cold food, couldn't figure out how to split a check even with hand holding it took 4 tries (party of 4).

After hearing about their heated, plush patio while making a reservation we were seated at the curb, at tables that seemed to be afterthoughts with no heater, and told maybe we can find you one but we have some big parties coming soon so..... Our server took drink orders but had to replace our drinks 3 times before getting club soda and tonic water straight. The appetizers were tasty, and the server finally decided to write down our order so they came out right away. After quite awhile he came back to get our entre order and seemed quite hesitant to take my girlfriends order from her instead of me. When the food finally came it was lukewarm at best, and if they are paying a chef then a new one is in order. The pasta was cooked alright but the sauce was straight from a can and the portions were very skimpy. Our friend had to send her burger back because it was cooked into leather and didn't get one that was at least not dry but still not as ordered until everyone else was finished with their food. We finally got asked if we wanted another round of drinks and once again they couldn't get them right. I'm not even sure their was alcohol in them, it certainly didn't feel like there was. After 3 tries to split the check, we literally wrote down for the server who had what and he still needed another try to get it right. At over a hundred dollars for a couple to have very mediocre food, 2 rounds of the worst drinks in memory, and amazingly bad service, Baco should shut down to make room for a restaurant that can get...
