Whiskey Rio — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

I went to the pure last night 08/14/2021 and left out to put my lashes in the car not even for five minutes but my cousin couldn’t go back in but I could because he said she couldn’t. It was confusing because we just came out. He said he will call the cops and he did, during that process I’m trying to record the interaction (previously was recording) the owner took my phone and throw it in someone’s car and pushed me. Mind you I’m a small female (5ft) and his bigger and taller than me. Cops took her away without any warning and I was stranded in an unfamiliar place. After spending a total of 140 for all of us to get in (after being told that our cover to get in would be coved and so would our VIP), we go up to the VIP area that we had received. We were sitting there for maybe half a song and a bouncer started fighting with the girl that booked the VIP area saying that we weren't buying bottles we needed to leave. He told her that she was free to get in he doesn't need her business get out, then grabbed her buy her arm and started to pull her to the door. We all walked outside to talk to find out exactly what was going on. During this time we went up to talk to the owner and he said I'll talk to one of you the rest need to walk away, so we did and one person stayed to talk to him. While he was talking him, the owner started to get heated and told him he needed to leave and pushed him, the moment he pushed him cops started surrounding him not the owner, we looked back and two more cop cars pulled up with two undercovers. My friend and I decided to go to Whiskey Río to check it out since we have never been there before. We had a couple beers before we went, but we were far from inebriated. When we got to the door there looked to be about three bouncers, waiting outside. As we were walking in the tallest of the group, stopped my friend and told us that he was too drunk to enter the club. He was so clearly not drunk it was ridiculous. I think this was a form of profiling, which really needs to be put into check. I will be making a formal complaint about this issue as we have done nothing wrong and we were not drunk nor causing any problems. When I questioned his decision, he got really angry and got into my face and threatened me physically. If this kind of behavior is condoned by the whiskey, Rios management, then I think this should be public knowledge.. if not, then there needs to be a retraining of the security staff at the...
