Looked at the reviews and was super excited to give this location a try with my husband. Literally drove up from McAllen, TX up to Corpus Christi for a one day trip (I’m in McAllen for work reasons not because I live there). Up North (Delaware) it’s called Painting with a Twist and we do this every 2 months or so. So my excitement was there to do the Oct/Nov Harvest Breezy Fall.
The class starts at 7 pm; it’s 7:35 pm and the class still did not start because there was a party (that was still setting up and waiting on their party to arrive) on top of the class. I have steakhouse reservations at 9:30 since the class was 2 hours long. It worked perfectly. Since the class still didn’t start, that was running into my reservation for dinner. I told the instructor what was going on and that we weren’t able to stay since there was no more reservations available for dinner. Basically response was along the lines of “I’m sorry... can’t predict these things especially Friday/Saturday.” Excuse me, that’s not a predicting of things... your website states that class starts at 7 pm. It should be at 7 pm. A 5-10 minute courtesy can happen but not 35 minutes. Be respectful of other people’s plans. If you have a party, that should have been set up ahead of time to start on time.
Asked for a refund and of course their manager on the phone said no refunds. I’m not cancelling a class as the email that sent out a few days prior to the class indicated. I showed up on time and willingly to do the class. Your class was ran extremely late and with no regards to the plans that I have set out. I agreed to the terms of no refund for cancelling my reservation to the class to get a credit not for your instructor not starting the class on time.
Really unacceptable and my husband leaves back up North Monday so it’s a missed opportunity and now a credit for $70 for nothing. In this circumstance, a refund should have been given and still needs to be the resolution. It’s messed up to punish me when at the end of the day your company started everything Late for a two hour class, oh that instructor stated was a 2 hour class that starts at 7 pm....
Read moreI came here for the first time on Saturday night. The painting theme was Hocus Pocus. It was a ton of fun but it was a bit annoying that we started an hour late. There were a ton of people who were there and they had one stencil for at least 30 of us to share. We had to use the stencil to trace the Moon and the sisters. Some people took 10 min to trace... it wasn’t quick. They should have had multiple stencils or they should have had them traced ahead of time. My table was the last table to get it. After the 3rd person at my table finished tracing, one of the gals that worked there took the stencil from her and grabbed my canvas and traced it for me along with the last 2 at our table because she could do it faster. That wasn’t a problem but that should have happened well before the stencil got to my table. The staff was super friendly and patient. I would totally come back and try again. I think if they’re going to have a packed house they should have more than 1 stencil for tracing if one...
Read moreWe had an amazing time at Crazy Picasso for my niece’s birthday! The whole experience was fun, creative, and full of good vibes. We painted a cheerful little caterpillar, and it turned out adorable—everyone got to add their own flair, which made it even more special.
Our host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed and guiding us through the painting process without ever making it feel intimidating. It was the perfect mix of instruction and freedom to be creative.
