Burger King — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

Short version: this was my first and last trip to this establishment.

Long version: My trip to this establishment was on 6/6/2014. Lets start with the fries, I got a large, the size of the individual fries was huge but the amount of fries was sad in comparison to all of the near by competition's medium fries. Lets add to it that they where dry and pretty much completely unsalted.

The burger was good size, nice amount of toppings, but burger king is known for grilling the burgers, these where cooked in grease on top of it they where not cooked all the way through. They weren't grilled at all the MCDonalds burgers are less greasy.

I also ordered one of the cups of ice cream. the cup was smaller than their small soda, and on top of it, said cup was half full.

The order took nearly 15 minutes, and there was two other other people in line in front of us, and we got ours first. I understand why they were grease cooked, I don't think the employees would be bright enough to cook with fire since they where so unorganized. Half of them weren't doing anything because they obviously had no direction to know what to do, and the other half were scrambling around the kitchen because they had no idea who was doing what, nor what needed to be done. No help to them was the computer's interface which was even more unorganized then they, running linux with what appeared to be an LXDE interface that could only be made by an amateur. Our order was taken immediately....but we asked for fresh fries and the young employee said "No problem." While we waited near the counter, we noticed no one put down fries for our order. He scooped up the old fries and even though we were dining in he handed us the BK bag as if it was a to-go order. The floor was sticky in the dining area and the lids near the drink machine were all scattered. There were more than 6 employees and not one showed interest in taking the customers order that had just walked in. Our orders are almost always wrong at this location and we rarely dine in. This time they not only tried to give us cold fries but they forgot to add the bacon on theTX Whopper. I walked up the counter to tell the guy that took my order and told the employee "this always happens here". Another employee repeated what I said and I found that to be disrespectful. Instead of apologizing for the repeated mistakes they joked about it. Towards the last bite of my meal I spot a strand of hair in between the meat and cheese. I visit this location multiple times a week and there is something about a bacon king with no sauce add pickles that confuses people. I get the same exact thing every time and it is almost always wrong... I would say 8/10 times it is wrong. When I first started ordering I would ask for a #4 with only pickles thinking I would get a bacon king with just meat, cheese, bacon, and pickles. No, would get it with meat, cheese, pickles, and no bacon.. ITS A BACON KING!! I got tired of it being wrong all the time so I asked the staff how I should order to make sure it's right. I was told to order a bacon king with no sauce and add pickles. That's what I do and it is still almost always wrong. I get them with sauce and bacon or no sauce and no bacon. My order is always right on the receipt so I know I'm ordering right and they are taking my order right. Seems like no matter what time you go whoever is working the line is never paying attention and always getting it wrong. Its getting old and really annoying.

I gave 3 stars because the staff I interact with is always nice and the food is always good......
