I visited Mc Donald’s on Staples and Louisiana a few days because my kids really wanted some happy meals. I order my food and the gentleman at the window tells me I need to go to a parking spot because everything else is ready, but not the fries. I patiently go to the front of the building and wait. About 20 minutes later another vehicle pulls up next to mine to wait for their order with happy meals in hand (apparently they had fries now). Within a few minutes, their food is delivered to their car by the same gentleman that asked me to wait in my spot. The gentleman tells me my order will be out shortly, they are getting it ready. I had been waiting in my car for nearly 30 minutes waiting for my order. I go inside to find out what is going on with my order and I’m told the staff didn’t know my order and didn’t know what I was waiting for. I was lied to by the gentleman twice telling me there was a fry shortage and my order being delivered soon as the condescending manager James told me all he could do was push my order quickly, he apologized telling me there was never a fry issue but just got busy. I asked for some type of comp or discount because of lack of service, he told me he can give me a number, but he’s not authorized to anything like this pretty condescendingly. I was upset due to the lack of service and being blatantly lied to on multiple occasions. I reached out to this group online, they asked for my contact information, apologized about event, but then I haven’t actually heard back from them. If I ever do go back to one of their stores, I’ll just wait at the window when they ask me to move forward, not accept their excuses because they blatantly lie to their customer’s faces. It doesn’t matter how good the food is if the voice on the intercom, or drive-through/counter isn’t positive, happy, nice, or welcoming… the experience is already bad! Miss Alice is the sweetest, not only manager that I’ve ever met, but person as well! she is kind understanding fixes any mistake without the ugly look of judgment. goes above and beyond to take care of her staff and anyone she serves just because of that I would drive this far to come get my kids food! This morning She had her team leader Brittany, who was the same. positive welcoming and prepared to serve! another employee there that interacted with my order was Jabes. She also had a very sweet demeanor. I couldn’t use an app code for what I was ordering, but she was still very sorry about it with her heart and made sure that I was OK before leaving the window.
Food was fresh, bagged neatly although rushing to get orders out. They were busy and working as a team no one was idle

Read moreI will no longer contribute to this loxation at 2222 S Staples. I had a remake order reserved and was reassured by the manager, Ashley, that all I had to say was that we had already spoken. The young man on duty didn't believe me and had to get confirmation. I understand, no problem. But his customer service was dry, unapologetic for the disappointing past experience and I received no "thank you" for giving them the opportunity to make it better. And then, my order was missing an item, really? Sure, I'm only 1 to the many 1000's they serve, but I guess they have no concept what a review can do. Whatever happened to genuine concern & customer service... Gone out the window just like the size proportions & quality in food. I regularly get barely warm or stale nuggets and fries at this location. But the best thing or I should say, a person, they have going for them( if she's still with them) is a young white Drive Thru lady who usually works evenings and is always positive & upbeat and sends you off with a my pleasure & blessings... BTW, the location at Staples & Doddridge rocks...
