First, atmosphere... Not gonna lie, I was worried when I walked up & was told the restaurant was closed but that I could eat in the bar. My worries were soon alleviated though & I was not disappointed in my choice to chance it plus the food was 100% worth it. The architecture while plain on the outside comes to life with character inside. An antique bar back , a beautiful bar top, and those cool tin tiles on the ceiling give it a real cozy vibe. Fair warning to those who are sensitive to loud music or crowds, definitely go earlier so you can eat in the restaurant. But if you don't mind a lively crowd typical of a little neighborhood bar then you are safe, at least on the slower weeknights. Second, service... the lovely bartender was happy to take my order and was very helpful when I asked for her recommendations. She did not steer me wrong and was very attentive to all her customers. Decent pour on the mixed drink I had as well. Not too strong but definitely not weak. Perfect for me.Full bar was available. Last but certainly not least, the food... I was not disappointed by the Chicken Rollotini recommendation. Chicken was moist & tender, lots of mushrooms and red peppers, everything was beautifully seasoned. I was also told I needed to try the stuffed mushrooms. They were delicious. The gravy (or sauce as most call it) was heavenly & I could eat it on just about anything. Portions were very generous & I left with enough leftovers for a whole other meal. Definitely worth the money spent which was pretty standard for the food quality and portion sizes. VERY happy with the experience & would definitely go back.

Really enjoyed this place. Absolutely recommend. It has two sections; a bar at one end with a separate street entrance and a restaurant end with its own street entrance. You can go between the two from the inside. Service was great. Brought very tasty and soft rolls with marinara automatically. I ordered the calamari and it too came with a marinara. It was excellent. Well cooked and seasoned; none of that barely-flash-fried going on. Loved it. Also ordered a small (12”) sausage and mushroom pizza. It was ok but not the flavor I’d hoped for. Almost seemed a bit undercooked and light on the red sauce. Pizza is so individual that it’s really hard to judge objectively for everyone. Toiled over the menu as there were so many excellent-sounding choices but I went with the taste of pizza in mind. Multiple people came by to check on things but not annoyingly so. They’re a Pepsi house…can’t have everything I guess. 🙂 This had no bearing on my rating. Plus they serve alcohol….and water.as I left, I stopped over to the bar for a beer. Not crowded. Loved the country music. Definitely can see hanging out here. I’ll come here again for sure, in spite of the Pepsi. If the pizza was excellent (for me anyway), it would have been a 5 without hesitation. After the next visit, I’ll likely amend this review as I expect they will do great.

Atmosphere: From the outside, it blends in within the rest of the downtown area and when you enter, there is a long hallway that takes you to an open room. Turn a left and walk through the passage and its almost like you stepped into a new establishment. The decor was really nice and the music playing in the backgrund suited the ambiance. Service: Upon entry we were seated pretty quickly. We were sat towards the front of the building and could see some of downtown. The server was helpful in providing recommendations as well as refilling our beverages. Quality: The complimentary rolls had a nice crispy texture to them and was served with a flavorful marinara sauce. Soon after I was presented with my entree , Chicken Fra Diavola. The portion size was substantial and full of flavor. The amount of spice was just right. Fili's Fave: Even though it was the first time eating there, I would highly recommend the Chicken Fra Diovola.

It's not often I really want to rave about anything. But, this Restaurant warrants the rave and then some. My first visit as I passed thru on business was just to grab a quick pizza and go.But the whole menu is even better and continues to reward! As I sat, waiting for the pie to arrive I was rewarded with the most delicious basket of homemade Italian hand rolled, twisted and seasoned breads and REAL pomadora sauce I ruined my appetite. Almost! The boxed Pizza arrived and wafting from this box was an unmistakable aroma (if you've been to Italy you know exactly what i mean) I opened and honestly, tears of olfactory joy overcame me. I bit into a slice immediately and what I can say from a point of expertise,Was a truly, perfectly tossed, appointed and sauced pizza to which, I have (with the exception of my own restaurant) ever had. Extra sauce is recommended but not needed and their own house dressing for your extra crust is a must.! BUT, BUT on my return with friends, The Pollo's, Rolotini, Cacciatore, Marinara, Alfredo's, Florentine, bolonese, Carbonaras, meatballs... oh, I could go on and on and I'm typing myself into a food frenzy but, I cannot say enough about this Authentically Italian region restaurant. finish off the delightfully rewarding meal with the absolutely best Tiramisu and REAL Cannoli's I have had since, since.... ever. Napoli's 111 E. Collin Street in Corsicana is, (unless you are palatially dead) a slice of heaven(no pun intended. If it were my restaurant I would have lalique linen sterling ware and Spiegelau stemware and nothing under 35, Ala carte of course. I make the trip at least twice a month and always take home extras. Bon...

Why offer gluten free items if you don’t even know about gluten. GLUTEN IS NOT A FAD FOR SOME ITS A TRUE ALLERGY. We take our own risks when eating in public, but come on! A little education goes a long way. I asked what salads and dressing were GF. I don’t know I’ll have to ask the guys in the back. I ordered GF veggie for me and GF meat lovers for my husband and a salad to go. Both pizzas were soggy and room temp crusts, there was water around the sauce on both pizzas, cheese not fully melted, my veggie pizza tasted like cardboard bandaids and the entire pizza - sauce and all just fell off the pizza when I went to pick up the first slice. My husband and I both took a bite it was so bad. The salad the minute I opened the container smelled like cardboard and bandaids and the taste was no different. Don’t offer items you know nothing about or are going to halfway make. Over $50 just wasted and I got SO sick I had to sleep the rest of the way to Galveston because I was dizzy and nauseous.

The hostess up front wearing sweat pants and a sweatshirt/jacket with his lanyard hanging down his leg is not cute at all. Smile and greet your customers. I was standing up front to book the hotel and he mumbled are you serious we’re already busy. There were 2 parties up front, one of 4 and one of 2, wow real stressful. He stood by the claw machine with menus in hand and watched one party he was about to sit. The lady said oh were you ready because you didn’t say you were going to seat us.

If you hate your job get a new one. Don’t stand at the front looking like you hate life and everyone in it. A beautiful building with slop a johns food....
