Juice Shop — Restaurant in Corte Madera

First, I do love the owner of this shop. He is a really nice guy. A typical bleach blonde California surfer type with a passion of healing and healthy lifestyle.

The juice is incredible as well. The many flavors with such names a Jalapeño punch, are delightful, full of freshness and incredibly tasty.

The downsides to this company are this:

The prices are far too high to be sustainable and this turns people away. Come on guys, a 16 oz juice for over 11 dollars??!?! How do you expect to really help ordinary people with limited budgets who want to be healthy with such sky high prices? I feel this price hiking is a real shame in the marketplace.

The current manager CiCi is a real novelty. She is quite rude to many new customers just asking about products. I have seen her disregarding young people coming in looking for a job. She seems unnecessarily competitive which makes her look bad in such an environment of health and juicing. She would do better at maybe Nordstrom's.

The air of pretense at this location is astounding. Now, I moved to Marin county over 20 years ago because of Roxanne Klein and her world class restaurant in Larkspur which served 100% plant based raw vegan cuisine. Even her restaurant didn't look down on the ordinary person and they sought to bridge that gap by offering fare at competitive prices.

Now, the location is really beautiful. The interior is nicely decorated and the juices are immaculate.

I just don't see them reaching out to mainstream and the struggling middle class to bridge that gap between the ultra rich who can afford healthy drinks and the very poor who can only afford McDonalds.

Offering healthy drinks that cost less is where the balance is.

If this place wants to make a greater impact which will make their own customers very happy and they could expand quite a bit as well, then they need to lower their prices on final product and tone down the...

For me it is very important to feed my body with foods that are good for me. I prefer plant based & raw ingredients. It is very difficult to find restaurants that serve food up to my standards. I ran into this shop accidentally and have tried almost every item on the list since then. The juices are incredible healthy, fresh and ingredients are combined well. I can see how every ingredient was chosen for a purpose. I love their overnight oats and the muesli mix is really tasty as well. No added sugars, no gluten, no lactose. This is one of the better pressed juiceries, with many locations throughout the Bay Area. I've tried a good portion of their menu with the highlights being Jalapeño Punch, Maca Malt, and Citrus Gold. These are all nutrient rich without being overly sweet. The spice of the jalapeño goes very well with the acidity of the other ingredients. The malt is the perfectly drinkable, non-dairy, creamy beverage. Be sure to hold on to your bottles so you don't pay the deposit more than once.
