WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

We came in around 6PM on Saturday night. There were 2 people of our group of 5 came in first and were told that they would only seat us with the full party. We understood and willing to wait until our friends came in even though there were still many open tables.

After we decided what to order, it took 15 mins to get the server’s attention and finally someone came to our table to take order. (It was a Saturday night and there were only 2 servers on the floor...)

Things got worst when 1 of our friend who was currently sick and she wanted to change table to inside (we were seated at the table next to the main entrance, very cold and windy since people keep open the door to get in and out). 1 of us decided to ask the male server (not wearing nametag so I couldn’t know his name) if he could kindly move us to the table next to us (there were 2 open tables next to our table).

At that time, he was just bussing the table, not even looked at the person who was talking to him and replied “No, I can’t. Sorry”. My other friend approached him again after 5 minutes and explained the situation, he replied “If you get cold, other guests will get cold too.” - with a very rude and cold tone of voice then walk away without saying something like “Sorry for the inconvenience.” (It seemed like you didn’t care about your customers.)

We were very disappointed about the poor customer service and decided to leave because we couldn’t accept that bad attitude from the server. Before we left, we told the other female server that we would cancel our food. She just replied “Okay” without asking what happened.

This isn’t my first time here in Bonchon. I like their chicken so that’s why I’m bringing my friends here to enjoy but it might be the last...

Because I recently had a great experience at BONCHON Glenview, IL; I wanted my family to experience the same great experience that I had experienced at BONCHON Glenview, IL (Very flavorful chicken wings. Soy Garlic sauce type is not too salty, not too spicy, not too sweet. Spicy type was to me, quite stingy spicy such that I had to take a break after every 2 spicy wings. They do chicken wings right. ordered 30 pieces, crispy and juicy to the last piece! I had them for take out and they were still crispy until the next morning. ) Oh, what a bummer and worst experience of BONCHON at this branch. I had 30 wings for take out soy garlic flavor with extra radish pickles. It took me about same time back to family for them to try as I did back in Glenview, IL branch. First, wings were not a full size with flap parts like other branches did. I guess that may vary by the market location. Second, the wings were not crispy and juicy at all by the time serving my family. They were soggy and not equally marinated as well as some were under cooked. Third, the radish pickles were dry as hell and could not even taste the typical flavor of such Korean style radish pickles (and they charged $2 for them). Finally, the employees were not so friendly when they only had like 2 tables full out of like 10 tables (?) they have. I do not know what this branch is trying to do by cutting down on the quality of ingredients and flavors while over charging for the chicken wings (calculates to over $1 for each wing, and for 10 piece radish pickles). Shame on you for bringing the franchise reputation of BONCHON. I was very disappointed and will not ever go back to...

Worst experience ordering delivery ever! I ordered online for delivery from the bonchon website directly, apparently they use doordash as the delivery service method. The driver called and said he was unable to deliver my food due to an incorrect address, I followed up and made sure i had entered the address correctly in whi h i did and he refused to drop off the order or even cancel the order… he then said I would have to call bonchon directly for my refund / to cancel

So then i called bonchon to correct the issue and cancel/refund me for my $67 dollar order of food, Charlie was working on site that night on 12/20/24 at the costa Mesa location, he said he would have to ask the manager if he could refund my order, they then stated they were not going to refund me or cancel the order at all

The delivery driver ended up pushing the order through as delivered in person which was completely false, he just stole my food… I tried to call doordash to report the driver for stealing my food, also tried to have DoorDash cancel the order and refund me, they also stated they were unable to assist me in the refund since i had ordered directly through bonchons website, they said i would have to contact the restaurant

The restaurant refused to refund me at all!

Basically robbed of $67 from...
