McDonald's — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

2020.07-25/1900: Was passing through after being at Laguna and haven't been to a Mickey D's in years. They've stepped up their game since the last time I've eaten here, maybe six years? So all we wanted was desserts and purchased four apple pies and chocolate chip cookies. Apple pies were delicious and super hot. Flakley crust and buttery with huge apple chunks. Score. Wow. They have cookies and they were surpringly great! They tasted fresh baked. Absolutely perfect for the end of our day!

The manager working the shift at 7 p.m. was fantastic and was so nice and super friendly. Loved the layout and system in place for COVID. Even better, their bathrooms were super clean. That's always a great sign in my books.

For a first visit in almost sixyears, it was great! So much has changed! Maybe I'll try their other items on the menu. It was good to see they stepped...

Revised I give up this topped the cake lol .. I thought id stop in on my way home as i wasnt feeling like cooking .. ordered a filet o fish extra tartar sauce and cheese and HOW IS IT THAT TRANSLATED INTO Filet O FISH WITH NO TARTER AND BACON ON IT BLEW MY MIND.. IDK why this place cant get it together is beyond me.. and still NOT HOT FOOD.. This particular Mc Donald's rarely serves anything hot .. last night everything was cold fries unless u ask for them freshly, THEY aren't cooked well.. we will not be going back to this one again as I've given to many chances. I'd rather drive a mile then go here again. waste of money since the food ends up not getting eaten.. they really need to step it up.. honestly, go through your food literally before you leave .. if I'm stuck going there, I'd def be asking for fresh food. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Service from Jimena at the Drive-Thru!

I went through the McDonald’s drive-thru recently and was helped by Jimena, and honestly—she was incredible! Super friendly, professional, and had such a positive attitude that it instantly made my day better.

Not only was my order quick and accurate, but Jimena also surprised me with a free frappé, which was such a kind gesture! It might seem small, but little things like that show how much she cares about making the customer experience great.

You don’t always expect this level of service at a drive-thru, but Jimena went above and beyond. She deserves major recognition for her awesome attitude and generosity. McDonald’s, take note—this is the kind of team member that makes people want to come back.
