This place is awesome! Since we found out about it a few weeks ago, we go there all the time. The food is very authentic and tasty.
You have to try the chicken gyro which is expertly marinated and moist but also huge! The tzatziki sauce is very authentic.
We have also tried the beef and lamb gyro, the chicken souvlaki and the giant beans. All of those were great. We also tried the Greek meatballs that were very moist and tasty. The appetizer sampler is a great choice. The spanakopita and the tyropita appetizer triangles are a must. Simply outstanding. The baklava was also homemade and very authentic.
We can't wait to try the moussaka and the lamb chops!
The prices are very reasonable, the staff is extremely polite and professional and the owner is very welcoming, friendly and excited to serve every table. He mentioned that he has been in the restaurant business for decades and we can tell he knows his stuff.
There are a few tables inside the place, but there are also tables outside. The decor is nice and Greek music is playing from the speakers.
Overall, this has been a very authentic and pleasant experience, every time we come by. Finally an authentic Greek restaurant...
Read moreI don't understand the good reviews. I'm baffled unless it was just an off day or they recently went downhill. This was a Saturday night and about what you expect for gas station 7-11 food. We had the beef lamb plate, falafel gyro, and baklava. It was one of the worst meals either of us ever had. Disgustingly dry from the freezer, extremely salty pieces of beef or lamb (couldn't tell the difference). Falafel gyro also dry and salty. The only way it was tolerable was to smother everything with the various extra oily sauces and hummus. The baklava was like soggy moss soaking inside a dry, crusty, rancid 3 day old diaper and the bottom soiled in a brown sugar syrup goo, the top crust sprinkled with cinnamon. If you just mash it all up and mix together it can be edible if you like eating a sweet sugary cereal with liquid sugar instead of milk. Just frozen overpriced garbage food. Ate about half of it all, and was a bit ill afterwards with all the sodium and probably freezer burned meat. Had to drink 10 glasses of water to detox. Is it the same food others are raving about or are standards wildy...
Read moreThis place is beyond awesome in every way, I'll explain but let me set the stage. Our girls and I wanted to do something special for mimi so we scheduled a Duffy out of Newport Beach and I wanted to schedule it for 4 hours so we could see the entire route but I knew we would get hungry and my wife loves Greek food so I found this place on line and I called to see if they could deliver a meal to our Duffy the owner was gracious and said of course we will figure it out. So I went down and scoped out where we could possible meet and i called and said I would like a variety of his best dishes for a family of 4, and he said call me when your ready. I called he said he would have it delivered at the time agreed. He showed up right on time and let me tell you the food was out of this world it was a spead enough for 6 adults with appetizers main dishes and dessert we ate our fill and had leftovers for the next day and it was only $75. You guys were awesome and you are our new favorite Greek restaurant in orange county and you are...
