Turner's Pub 33 — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

The Bar: The marquee out front featured "midgets". Sure enough, midgets in bikinis walking up and down the bar top. You don't want to stare, but simply cannot look away. The bar itself was large, seats about 15 people on the stools, along with tables and couches scattered around the inside. Large outdoor patio for smoking and drinking. The bartenders were pretty good looking and a couple were topless, with just pasties on. The Crowd: Mostly all men....which is becoming a pattern at most every bikini bar. Service: Moderate. Place was quite busy, but there were at least 4 bartenders working. Prices: Expensive! $11 for a pitcher of Coors light? That's insane. Not to mention $6 for a tall can of PBR! Entertainment: Several video games, internet jukebox, 4 pool tables. Restroom: Clean, but covered in torn out pages from Playboy and used as wallpaper. Bartender Chat: None. We chatted with the owner a bit but nothing spectacular to report. Closing statement: Not overly impressed with this place. Voted "Sexiest Bikini Bar in OC" by Maxim Magazine, not sure that we would agree with that. It was kinda dingy. We got in, got pictures, got out....

This bar has transformed into one of the best in the Newport area. The exterior is beautiful with an outdoor patio. The inside has mahogany walls and black granite bar top. The selection of beers on tap are great plus they have an amazing selection of top shelf liquor and tequilas. The staff are some of the most beautiful bartenders you will ever see. They excel in customer service and are just fun to be around. The pool tables are the best in the area. Top of the line Diamond tables that are quite popular as they are always busy! The food they offer from the Yakatori and sushi to the pulled pork sliders and the best tacos in town all for $2 a serving is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this true neighborhood bar. Its fun to see some of the same people in the pub - feels very comfortable whether Im with one friend or a group of friends who try to challenge me on darts and shuffleboard!!! This is a must try if your looking for a great place to hang out with your friends. Thanks...

The staff at turners is amazing great attitude and great service except for management/owner who quite unsettling refused access to my service dog which i had Prof of registration and identification and while only being there less than a few moment's which BY LAW is UNACCEPTABLE for a SERVICE ANIMAL and handler to be denied access and was told to not even allow my dog to wait outside while not causing any sort of disruptive behavior regardless we had left as to not disrupt the staff while they worked. I highly suggest the owner of the establishment brush up on the laws and rights of service animals as it's a violation of legal rights to...
