Tried the Donchan last week. Syrup mix at the bottom far too sweet in comparison with a Monster boba from Ding Tea, undrinkable as is. Then when mixed, drink becomes a watered down, ice cream milk, but the topping doesn't have enough creaminess and the milky mix doesn't have enough wow. The Alley better at cream tops. Boba boring and forgettable. Not the softest, certainly not close to best. Then tried the grapefruit tea today. Utter failure. Just syrup in black tea, not even a piece of grapefruit. Flavor so bad, even drinking the Udon broth from Mugimaru, which isn't the best udon by far, was much tastier, repeatable than trying to drink the grapefruit yuck. Threw it away after a few tiny sips. Both Yifang and Wushuland grapefruit/citrus drinks far better. Service very slow when busy. 3 working staff, 9 minutes to make my drink. Even the lady running Go Yummy cranks out drinks far faster. Inefficient, tiny setup of their drink kitchen is what's killing them for speed of service. I ordered from umacha first , then Don Don Tei which finished my order before umacha!? That Slow! In the end, Ding Tea, Gong Cha, Go Yummy, Yifang, Wushiland...get the idea...are ALL better choices. $6, 7 drink prices also horribly expensive vs better tasting $4-5 Ding on Bolsa.

Okay. For the price paid, we expected perfection. The drinks were too sweet and the boba proportion was not worth the additional dollar they charged. The workers were nice, but our expectations were not met. * Marry Me Mango: 7/10 - couldn’t taste any tea * Jasmine Green Tea + Cheese Cream: 8/10 - good but way too sweet * Brown Sugar Boba (Topping): 6/10 - way too sweet They’re located in the center of the food court inside of Mitsuwa Marketplace. You should be able to find a table to sit at, but the place lacks major air conditioning so I wouldn’t recommend staying for long. There are a lot of other boba shops in the area that are way better. Not worth it, in my opinion.

I always love coming here with my Dad! The workers are very helpful and friendly, and I especially love the drinks here. In my humble opinion, Umacha is my favorite place to go to for quality tea and flavorful boba. Even though Umacha is a smaller stand, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the shop itself is very visibly appealing too. The boba is very tasty and never extremely undercooked or overcooked like many boba places I stumble across, and the tea is strong and especially great when they make it fresh there. I recommend the Marry Me Mango at 50% sweetness!

Came at 3 on Saturday, only one person in line in front of me. When I get to front male cashier is talking to coworkers with me standing there for a good minute. Ordered and drink was good but service was terrible. Also clicked no receipt and didn’t know that my order number was on there. So when two of the same drinks came out # for 130 and #131 I didn’t know which was mine. Both were the Love Me and both added boba. Would be helpful if staff would let you know your number or made it so that the receipt prints out automatically so you have your number on hand. Did not know that the Love me didn’t come with boba so a friendly reminder from staff asking if you would like to add boba or any additional add ons would be very helpful for first...
