This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had at a Dairy Queen. I have certainly had bad experiences before, but this place is a mess. I didnât say anything when the person that took my order stood in front of me and ignored me. I didnât say anything when I asked for a sauce substitution and her response was âI donât knowâ (later to find out apparently no). I didnât say anything when I asked for a receipt, and instead she just walked away. I didnât even say anything when half the chicken on my sandwich was just gristle, and the other half was destroyed by overcooking (literally could not bite into half of it, and yes I should have said something). I figured I would at least get a refill since I didnât get all of my food, but was told there were no free refills âdue to Covid.â Thatâs when I said something. Not because of the policy (even if it is a policy that makes no sense unless it is to cut costs), no, I said something because there was a sign up that said to ask for refills. I had been pushed over the edge with this place, and questioned how they donât even do what their own signs say, and was met with the most combative, defensive manager you can imagine. There was clearly no thought in that head of hers that maybe I had a point. Sheâs done this before. She had it all out and ready to go - Iâm going to call the cops, I donât control policy, sheâs new, all the classic hits of someone that doesnât want to take responsibility for anything, and isnât going to help someone that questions anything.
Seriously, if you are just passing through the area and like Dairy Queen, there are others north or south of here that canât possibly be worse. Even McDonaldâs would be better...
Read moreIf i could give this less than 1 star I would!... the lady who took our order in the drive thru was so impatient and rude we had to repeat our order at least 3 times. When we finally got up to the window there were 3 girls just inside the open window gossiping and arguing. Including a lady wearing shorts, a spaghetti strap tank top and flip flops with long pony tail just swinging around all the food AND. A child about 2 in a stroller.. which was behind the counter... there was only 1 gal who had a uniform and proper attire on the rest were in tank tops and flip flops and hair swinging all around the food... we sat at the window for about 5 mins watching all this before anyone even greeted us... when we finally got our food 1 burger was SOAKED in mustard the bun was soggy, and the other burger looked like it had been stepped on, and the chicken strip were so small and shriveled up it was disgusting... I will NEVER go to the place again and I would recommend that no one ever goes here...
Read morei used to work for a dairy queen in high school, not at this location, and ive never seen such bad customer service. I know how things are ran in an environment like this or maybe i should say (supposed to be ran) and this place is horrible and the manager does nothing to fix it. slow service because she does not want to pay her employees so she under-staffs. I feel bad for the people running around like a chicken with its head cut off. and on top of that i spent 40$ in food and they wanted me to pay .30c a piece for sauce like ranch and bbq! I only asked for 2 of each. That right there is what lost my service, i try to support my local business as much as i can, but the next time i want DQ i will be driving to Creswell because im not gunna spend 40$ on food and not get 4 little sauces for free. 1.20 just lost them alot of business. Everytime i go there its never under 30$ at least 1 time a week not including my parents...very unfortunate because we love...
