My experience with this Carl's Jr. is hit and miss, I always substitute my buns for the sourdough bun and since they offer that it is one of the primary reasons I go there but I have found that the the hit rate for me getting that bun is about 4 out of 5 visits, I've resorted to checking my order every time I go now because of the distance I live away from the restaurant eating a bunless burger isn't something I like doing.
“If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face” campaign must be long dead at this location as I have to oftentimes have to order double of any of the topping sauces especially the guacamolly if I don't want to eat a dry burger.
Other than those issues my only other gripe would be that they have apparently changed their opening hours to 7 am, I checked yesterday before heading over to get breakfast and was greeted with a "We open at 7" over the intercom and nothing more, it would have been nice to have that new information updated prior to heading to the restaurant.
Most items I order are fresh. The staff for the most part are nice.
If they could be on par with the portions that seem to be abundantly more at any other Carl's Jr. I go to, and fix that mystery "Will I get the bun I ordered" issue they would be amazing, I am giving the 3 star rating due to the amount of times I have had issues at this particular location.
I can only wonder when they are opening tomorrow morning, 6am, 7am?...
Read moreIt was Christmas Eve, 5:40pm. As I pulled to the menuboard to order, I asked the employee what time they closed, he stated 7:00pm. After placing my order I pulled to the window and attpred to pay. The manager Eli who was working at the window told me, "we don't accept cash". Not understanding or thinking I didn't hear him correctly, I asked him what, you don't accept cash? He said yes, we don't accept cash. I asked him why not, and he said, "because I already dropped my cash so I'm not taking anymore cash today." I told him, I don't have a card with me, only cash, can you please sell me, comp me or something, somehow let me pay you and maybe drop the cash the next day.He said " nope, can't do that"! I asked him, what are you going to do with the food I ordered and you have in your hand, prepared for me"? He said " we will just throw it away"! I asked him, " I was in disbelief, I said you're really not going to sell me food, and you will discard it rather than than take care of a paying customer? He said, yes, we can't take cash. There was no apology, just no, we don't take cash. This was THE worst experience I've ever had, and on Christmas Eve. I will never eat at another Carl's Jr, and I recommend anyone eating there to make sure you have a card, because according to Eli, they don't accept cash, at least not 2 hours before closing on...
Read moreUnlike the Carl's Jr. locations on the West Coast, this location is not very sanitary and I would avoid eating here. The first time I went was late at night, after dinner rush. My chicken tenders were perfectly cooked and tasted great (credit where it is due). However, the restaurant itself was pretty poorly taken care of and the employees were super kind but their uniforms were really needing to be replaced.
The second time I went, two months later, was an entirely different experience. I get that this location is a franchise, but there is no excuse for poor food safety. I ordered two grilled chicken sandwiches with a buy one get one free coupon. The first sandwich was way undercooked, the chicken was nearly raw, slightly cold in the center, and the texture was absolutely horrible. The second sandwich appeared to be fine, but I wasn't going to take any chances. I sent feedback to corporate because undercooked chicken is no joke and they didn't even offer to compensate me after I wasted $6 and threw the food away after taking a single bite.
About the picture... That's a huge container of fry sauce just sitting out on the counter next to the registers, completely...
