I am very disappointed with the Ft. Union, UT location. I received a gift card from work for $10 to Pizzeria Limone. I have been trying for weeks to get food there, but every time I go in, they are super packed and slow, or when I've called to place an order, they ask to put me on hold immediately and never come back (literally, I've waited around 8 minutes more than once before hanging up). So tonight the same thing happens to me on the phone, but I hang up after 6 minutes, call back and get an answer right away. Finally someone to take my order! I go in to pick up my order, it's pleasantly unbusy, my order is ready, I'm excited! I give them my gift card and the girl tries swiping it several times. It doesn't work. She looks at it, looks at the gift cards they have to sell and says, "Oh, this is one of our old gift cards and our new machine won't read it." After several back and forth questions, a manager comes over and tells me the same thing. I tell her, "there is no expiration date on this gift card." She says, "Yeah, but we can't accept it cause our machine won't read it." I tell her that sounds like an issue on their end that needs to be worked out. Someone paid $10 for this gift card (It is written right on it), it has no expiration date, nor does it say anywhere that 'the system may change and not be able to read this card in the future." So it is STEALING to not honor the card. And they WOULD NOT! Then, the employee has the audacity to say to me, "It's only $10," which is not the point. Someone behind me in line shoves her card at the workers and pays for my meal while I protest, "No, I don't need you to pay for my meal. That's not the point. I have $10 but I also have a $10 gift card that should be honored.' So now I am totally embarrassed because it's this big scene that everyone in the restaurant is watching. I am beyond angry. The women working there were totally rude and did not try to help figure it out AT ALL. They literally just said, "Well, our machine can't read it, so we can't accept it." I will definitely be sharing my experience with others and caution them NOT to buy gift cards from...
Read moreUnfortunate experience this evening at Pizzeria Limone in Cottonwood Heights, UT.
I ordered a pepperoni pizza but made a couple changes to it. Most specifically subbing the 5-cheese blend for mozzarella only & then added chopped garlic.
The reason I go with mozzarella only is because I am pretty sensitive to other cheeses, especially the ones that have that super potent smell & taste. Mozzarella is super basic and almost no taste LOL i get it I'm am boring.
The issue:
A normal pepperoni pizza with 5-cheese & the shredded parmesan was delivered to my table. My GF and I just got done working out and decided to hit Limone up on the way home (super hungry).. The entire time I was eating the pizza I assumed the smell was coming from her pie.. only to realize after a couple of slices it was my pizza.. there was evidence of the added parm, the 5-cheese blend & no chopped garlic.
I was super hesitate to go up and bring up the issue since I had already eaten a couple slices, but was so disappointed I ended up going to the counter.
When explaining the situation to the dude in the front, I ended up ordering another pie, like the one I was supposed to get originally.
I reluctantly said I would pay for a new pie, just because I wanted what I originally ordered. Well darn, Limone actually made me pay up for a new pie after they delivered the wrong one to my table. Again, I get that I ate a couple slices, out of hunger, and also mentioned I was down to pay, but in what world does a business actually make the customer pay up for their mistake.
Whatever, I just wanted to share. I doubt I'll be back. Hope you all get the experience that you expect when choosing to spend your money here.
Sharing a couple photos.. can you spot the difference between the two pies? Asking...
Read moreLet me start off by saying that this restaurant makes the best salad that I’ve ever had (Cantana). That being said, I called today to place an order in advance because I was craving said salad, but running on a tight schedule. An automated system told me that their phone lines are “currently busy,” but they could text me a link to order online. I click on that link, and the platform shows that it’s going to charge me $1.50 service fee. I decided to just stop by the store that was on my way in case it wasn’t busy at noon; to my surprise, there were only six customers already eating and zero in line with six employees. So I ordered my salad, and they did get me quickly on my way. I get that it’s only $1.50, but there is a principle here. First of all, please don’t bend words by stating that your line is busy when there was clearly capacity for employees to be taking calls. (Not to mention, I looked up the corporate customer service, phone number before leaving this review, and had no problem getting through to them. They just said it’s company policy, and they would pass my feedback along to the owner.) In addition to that, I am very disappointed that this company would decide they are too good to talk to their customers, and then charge them to use a platform at the company’s convenience. Your salad may just be that good to where I can’t help myself but look past a company that makes me feel like a number. For your sake, hopefully that’s the case for all of the...
