Half-decent food with higher-than-deserved prices in a sterile environment. The restaurant has no character, and extremely limited human interaction. You order from an iPad at a big, blank, white wall and pick up your order from a disgruntled worker at a window in the back of the restaurant. We ordered a Bowl with Tofu and added noodles and spicy mayo (adding spicy mayo is an extra charge, so are the noodles). We also ordered a Bulgogi Cheesesteak. The Tofu Bowl was fine. The texture was fine and the portions were huge. The extra charges are annoying though. The Bulgogi Cheesesteak was overwhelming. It’s neither Bulgogi nor Cheesesteak. It’s somewhere in the middle and it’s not all that pleasant in my opinion. Also, they went crazy with the cheese whiz. Way too much. Overall, this was disappointing. 2.5 stars, but I’ll round up. Would maybe return, but not likely.

No-frills location with kiosk ordering. The heating doesn’t seem to work well, so it can get chilly. The food was prepared promptly and the bowl portion was large! The Bulgogi meat was good. I got the additional dumplings and noodles with my bowl (and there is an option to get an egg as well). I thought the bowl tasted good but it was composed of mostly fatty ingredients. I think having something pickle-y or tangy would really help balance it out. I realized after I started eating that they do have kimchi on the menu, so I’d recommend trying the bowl with it as an addition.

Great flavors, the sweet and tangy chicken is 🔥. But the plate was half empty. I wasn't full, and I ate my first lunch 2 hours before. Now yes I'm fat and always hungry, but this didn't even satisfy me. I paid 15 dollars to be hungry still lol. I'm not Korean either, but if real Koreans saw how little rice they gave, they would think we are at war again. Absolute shame. Rice is like $1 per pound and I literally got 8 teaspoons of rice 🍚. They gave me more salad. It's called angry Korean because they are still hungry after, not satisfied Korean.

I recently dined at The Angry Korean and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. First and foremost, the prices are exorbitant for what you get. I expected a high-quality meal, but instead, I found myself paying far too much for average, underwhelming dishes. The portion sizes were small, and the flavors were lacking.

What made the experience even worse was the restaurant's attitude towards customer feedback. I took the time to leave a review on Google, hoping for a constructive dialogue. Instead, I received an extremely offensive and dismissive response from the owner. It was clear that they have little respect for their customers’ opinions and prefer to belittle anyone who dares to criticize their overpriced and mediocre offerings. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any service industry.

Overall, I would not recommend The Angry Korean. The high prices are not justified by the quality of the food, and the hostile, disrespectful manner in which they handle customer feedback only exacerbates the disappointment. Save your money and dine elsewhere where your concerns will be met with genuine consideration...

Save yourself the trouble and just read all the reviews and more importantly the owner’s responses. They say it all. I was excited to try this place because I miss the incredible Korean restaurant that used to be in this strip mall. The stench inside is barely tolerable even just to wait for a take out order, it smells like rancid overused and old fryer oil. There is no table service here, you order on an iPad. The chicken katsu bowl was drenched in thick sauces, making the lettuce inedible. After I removed the lettuce and added the kimchi that I had to buy separately I barely took a couple bites before I just threw the overpriced meal away. The breading was nice and crispy but it tasted like old fryer oil and I couldn’t detect any authentic Korean taste, just an Americanized, over sauced, bland dish that left me thoroughly disappointed. The kimchi didn’t taste home made, it tasted like it had been pickled for long past its prime. Overpriced, no authentic ‘Korean bowl’ elements, you pay extra for anything you want to add. Unfortunately for me this is definitely a place I would...
