I've been eating here for close to 20 years, it's had its ups and downs as expected; however, the service I received yesterday was terrible. I work nights so dinner for me is late at night. I tried to place an order online around 1230am but the website says orders can't be placed after 11 pm. So I called the restaurant. I was greeted by a server named Christian who told me they cannot take phone orders after 10 pm so the only way I could order food would be to go into the store and order in person, which I did. When I arrived, after waiting at the counter for several minutes, I was able to speak to Christian who was seated at the bar/ counter area. He proceeded to tell me he was on break and that he could not help me or place my order for another 11 minutes. I stood around and waited and I finally asked if I could tell him my order so I could run to the gas station and come back. He said he would write it down but couldn't "put it in the system" till he was off his break. I ordered nachos and an order of fries. I left, came back, paid for my order, and went home. When I unpacked my food to share with someone else, I noticed the French fries weren't even the amount you'd get with a side order. There were 11 in a small box. At this point I was frustrated and no longer wanted to deal with it so a family member called and spoke to Christian, he was very rude to my family member on the phone and told her "It's 2 a.m. I'm the morning what do you want me to do about it?! I don't control the portion sizes". We were aware of what time it was and we work night shifts and this business is open 24 hours for a reason. When asked for the manager's name he said he was not going to give it to her and that if she wanted to talk to the manager she could call back tomorrow and request to speak to them, she did ask his name and after a long pause, he finally gave it. I don't normally leave negative reviews because s* happens but in 20 years of being a customer I've never experienced someone so blatantly rude. Read moreWe arrived at 10:40 only to be greeted by a hateful hostess who seated everyone that came in after us. her excuse was there were no tables to accommodate a party of 8. My brother walked around the corner from the hostess station and noticed 4 empty tables. we proceeded to tell her and she went and got her manager LORI. who said well sometimes we miss things. Lets start this greeting over. We were sat within 7 mintues. Lori took our drink order and advised us that Ally would be our server. Ally came over after several minutues took our order and we thought things were good. Lori came back filled our coffee (once). 30 minutes go by and no food. Ally came by to apologize stating our order was being made. Ally offered complimentary salads, fruit, and goldfish to hold us over as it now has been 45 mintues and no food. We did take advantage of her salad and fruit offer for 2 of us at the table. Lori comes back and says its any minute now that our food will be out. We can see inside the kitchen area, where our ticket never was pushed to front of the line, it stood there. Now we are on 80 minutes and no food. Ally comes back to apologize once more and still no food. Lori never even made eye contact after that. One of the waitresses had to go into the kitchen and try to help cook. Now we are at 1 hours and 20 minutes, and a portion of our food has arrived. 4 of the 8 meals came out, and were decent. 12 minutes later the second half of our food comes out. Ally checked on us continuously, and was very sweet and somewhat upset that her kitchen dropped the ball on our order. Ally was very apologetic. We ate. At time of check out, we asked to see the manager to let her know, that 1 hour and 40 minutes for food was unacceptable, and Lori (manager) made every excuse she could to say she did everything she could. She also said her top cook had quit the day before and that's some of the issue. It doesn't matter to a paying customer who quit, the fact is, she never took ownership of her store and she made excuse after excuse. Read moreWhen we sat down we asked for water not lemon, yhe host brought it no issues. Server than came and asked us if we wanted a different beverage, we responded "No thank you just the water." She than proceeded yo tell us all our beverage choices, again we said "No thank you,just the water." We asked for clean silverware and received silverware that was dirtier than the ones already on the table. Again asked for clean silverware, again at was dirty. She told us it was fine just hard water spots. My 1st suggestion, polish ur silverware like the rest of he town restaurants do! Than ppl wont think your silverware is dirty. 2nd suggestion dont tell your paying customers "its okay" when they ask for clean silverware. While looking at the menu we noticed what looked like a manager standing at the window where food was being put up in a grey hoodie and her long blond hair down, it first we didnt think to much about it till she started to touch the plates, and bring food to the table. When we received our sampler their was a long black hair on the plate, our servers hair I am assuming, since her long black haired pony tail was over the front of her sholder. When we went to pay the aerver came up to the register and said next time ask for to to silverware so she doesn't complain about your hard water spots on the regular silverware.. Ya not a good last impression. Usually when I write these reviews it's like a positive about our local businesses this is the first time I've written a review giving all negative I would not recommend going to this restaurant they can be unclean and unresponsive if you have an issue feeling like it's not a big deal! I am sorry but it is a pain customer I shouldn't be entitled to at least clean silverware and no hair in my food didn't even bother to say anything cuz nothing would have been done about it we don't even need to get into the overcooked food that we had, all around...
