So the last 2 times I've been to Dunkin Donuts I've had terrible services and product. The 1st one was last Friday. I order a half dozen donuts at 6 am. I got them through the drive thru. Half the donuts where stail and half my order was wrong. I couldn't even do anything about it because I was already on my way to Phoenix when we found out. So, I go in today and let the guy behind the counter know about my experience on Friday and he says well that sucks. I should have turned and walked out but I really wanted the donuts I didn't get on Friday. Well I ordered 2 chocolate cream donuts with powder sugar all over them and 2 vanilla cream donuts with powder sugar all over them as well. I should stuck with my gut feeling. All 4 donuts where stail and crunchy with so little filling it was no more than 1/4 tsp of cream. Not to mention 1 of the donuts had no cream at all. Also the ones that where supposed to be vanilla turned out to be lemon filled. Cream filled donuts should be filled with cream. I'm just so disgusted how downhill Dunkin Donuts has gone. That product should be held to a high standard and that you should want to make you customers happy keeping them coming back. Plus, donuts should be fresh and soft. Not to mention the respect customers should be respected by the employees. It's going to be a long time or if ever before I go into Dunkin...
Read moreI tried going through the drive thru. There were two cars that I could see in front of me. Somewhere along the line a car got behind me. After 10 minutes with the first car not moving at all, I finally started putting the truck in reverse to give a hint to the person behind me. Eventually she realized that getting coffee that day was hopeless and left. I was now free to escape the line.
This is a reoccurring problem that points to bad management. If I were the franchise owner, I would ask the manager what their plan was to fix the problem. If they didn't have one, I would fire them and hire one that did. If the franchise owner doesn't fix the problem, then Dunkin Donuts needs to revoke the franchise since it is giving the chain a giant black eye.
I've been to some extremely well run DDs where service was fast and friendly. I know it can be done. The Cottonwood DD needs to fix their problem or they will continue to push customers away. The town is too small to tell regulars you don't...
Read moreBeen here a few times now for icecream, but this was the first time for coffee. 3 of is ordered icecreams and coffees. My icecream was pistachio and almond, and it was alright. The iced coffee however was very burnt, bitter, and nearly undrinkable. I only took a few sips before throwing it away. One of the other coffees was french vanilla cappuccino, which was also very burnt, and was tossed in the trash. The third coffee was just a regular coffee and got no complaints (although she is almost 90, and won't complain even if she can't eat/drink what she got). I've had several good icecream experiences at this DD/BR location, so I want to give it a few extra stars in good faith. I will be back for icecream, but there is a Starbucks next door, or I can get a gas station...
