Typically do not leave bad reviews but I am astound at this. The posted hours are 8:00PM. We paid for an online order for pick up at 6:50PM, wait time was 30 minutes. We got there at 7:15PM and another person had pulled in at the same time, they pulled on the door and it was locked, then we pulled on the door and it was locked. I saw two people in the kitchen area so I knocked on the door, they looked over then moved out of eye view. I stood there for another 5 minutes, they peaked around the corner then I knocked again. After another 5 minutes I pounded on the door then took a picture of the time & posted hours to call corporate to get a refund. THEN one of the kids opened the door and asked what he can do for us, I said hey we have an online pick up order. He goes to the counter where you can see 5 other online tickets and said “ope didn’t see this” proceeds to pull pizza dough out and slam it on the counter, almost pissed that we came to pick up a pizza we paid for 😅. He started stating he missed the online order because he was busy trying to clean up and I said well do you normally close almost an hour before the posted hours? He told me it was due to short staffing, even though there were two people working….. if you’re short staffed, why are online orders still able to be placed to the location? Why don’t you have a temporary sign on the door stating why you’re closed an hour before the posted online hours? Not trying to assume anything, but the situation just doesn’t make sense from a business standpoint. I definitely will be calling corporate as we’ve had issues with online orders before at this location. Hopefully the other people who placed online orders are able to get refunds for their items, as he locked the door right after we left with our order.
Update to this: We got home, made the pizza and noticed it didn’t have all the toppings it was supposed to. We ordered one of the speciality chicken taco grande pizzasOnline it states it should have the below ingredients: Grilled Chicken, Roma Tomatoes, Mixed Onions, Black Olives, Cheddar, Taco Seasoning, Whole-Milk Mozzarella, and Refried Beans and Salsa
It did NOT have refried beans OR salsa, and they used regular marinara/pizza sauce.
Hoping leaving the review will help make management aware of these issues and fix them, as this isn’t the first bad review...
Read moreI made an order a few months ago and was given attitude when I told the preping person I was allergic to pork and that I needed them to change their gloves and wash their hands. He was throwing utensils around and was huffing and puffing at me for being allergic. Then I waited to go back awhile. My last visit in was Monday and even though it was different people, I was scared to request washing their hands. They just changed their gloves and let them know I was allergic to pork. I left it at that. They prepared my two beef and green pepper family sized pizzas and I left having a pleasant experience where I didn't feel attacked. I got home to bake it and it was a mixture of beef and pork...I couldn't eat it...pork makes me extremely sick and last time I ate pork I was in the hospital for 24 hours with really bad side affects I won't go into. I rarely get to eat out due to my illnesses and papa murphys has usually been a safe place to eat... but no more. I can't risk coming here anymore. Train your people better to be more respectful for people's allegeries. I'm done...
Read moreI went to the one on Madison Ave. When I arrived there was one person there waiting on her order. I ordered what I wanted and sat down. Two people came in behind me. They paid and began their wait. I waited for 25 minutes and the two people who came in behind me got their orders and left. I ask the man behind the counter to give me my money back. He said they were getting ready to make mine now. I told him that I was there before to two came in. Again I told him I wanted my money back. He said I would have to wait until tomorrow. I told I wasn’t going to do that. He said only the manager could open the register for a refund. I told him to call the manager and give me back the cash I gave him.
