Pirate Putt — Local services in Council Bluffs

My kids love coming here as a quick fun treat for being good. We haven’t been here in a few months so today we went and were very off-put by the gentleman there. They have a pretty large array of snacks and drinks you can purchase, so I asked to buy a soda and a pack of M&Ms for my husband….only to be told I would need to take them to my car before my kids began putting. I asked if I could just keep them in my purse while my kids were putting and he told me no. While I understand that there is always someone to ruin it for everyone, we were the only people there and I couldn’t even keep them in my purse? It seems odd to have a large assortment of things to sell, only to tell your customers they have to go put it in their vehicle.

The gentleman was also just sitting behind the register blaring a tv show on his iPad the whole time we were there. They have music playing, but we could hear every single word of the show he was watching.

I would rather make the extra drive to Jurassic out to experience friendlier staff and...

We just did our son's 7th birthday here. The prices on the website aren't the same as the prices at the actual location - as well as we weren't told ahead of time to get the 20% off for using the party room that we had to pay for every single golfer all at once. We had multiple parents paying for their kids so we got stuck with the bill because they all had cards and couldn't do separate payments. On top of that no one explained anything at all to us or showed us where anything was. I paid almost $300 and it absolutely wasn't worth it. The receptionist also had an attitude the entire time she talked to us and then the other half of the time we had to wait for someone to be at the window. We won't be returning.

Popped in with a friend, had a great time traversing the obstacles. Two courses holes some challenging, some very challenging. Cute decor! Worth the trip!

If you want to make a party of it, they have a separate room with tables and chairs. If you want to enjoy a snack from their snack bar (pop, candy, chips, no alcohol) they have some tables out to eat in the general admission area.
