My husband and I used to love coming here; it was a go-to date night experience with great drinks, food, and entertainment. We made a reservation for the speakeasy the Saturday after Valentine’s Day at 7pm; unfortunately, we had to push it back a week. We had never been to the speakeasy, so we were so excited to spend our late Valentines dinner in the speakeasy for the first time. When we got there, we were told that they didn’t have our reservations and there was a private event that had been scheduled for at least a month. They checked the previous Saturday to see if somebody forgot to move the reservation….they NEVER wrote our name down for a reservation in the first place. I immediately questioned if we made a mistake and called the wrong restaurant, but we confirmed we called the Lincoln House number on February 11 and 14th (11 to schedule; 14th to push it back a week). The owner was kind and offered us a table in the main dining room and comped our first round of drinks. The last two times we went to Lincoln house, my husband and I had been dying to try the brisket platter, but both times they ran out. Mistakes happen - no big deal. We go to order the brisket platter again —— sold out. This is the third time in a row they were sold out. For a restaurant that has such a small menu at the price they are, I’d think they would assure they have said menu items. We’ve been getting more and more disappointed as we come here for dinner, and this experience was the straw that broke the camels back. It’s such a shame because we used to love this little...

This is one of those special places you drive by every day and just don’t seem to notice. We were looking for a place to celebrate a 60th birthday. We read about the Lincoln House on there website and saw the had a room called The Utility Room. When we went to look at it we knew it was perfect. It has a Speakeasy feel hidden in back behind a cleverly disguised door and you need a password to get in. It has its own bar with a Mixologist tending the bar. We visited the main area a couple times for dinner and to enjoy the live music and really enjoyed the food and fantastic staff. The night of our party we had 19 people and everyone could not believe how they didn’t know about this place. The food was the best event buffet style food we have ever had. Definitely recommend the Italian Extravaganza. Markly, our mixologist was outstanding. She made sure everyone had a drink they liked and even came up with one for someone with unusual dietary restrictions. She also made sure our every needs were addressed. This is definitely a place to visit and enjoy the atmosphere. I would like to point out that sometimes people only look at the dollar sign on the menu and make their opinions based on that, you need to understand what number represents, you must factor in the experience while you dine. The music, the lighting and overall feel of restaurant should always figure into your opinions. We will definitely be returning it the future. Thanks Markly for making our night a...

Finally made it to this new local favorite and my only regret is not having been here sooner. We didn't have dinner reservations but made it there early enough (before 6) where they have plenty of tables on a Friday night. I was in the mood for a cocktail that wasn't sweet, and the server recommended just the right one. I don't remember the exact name of it but it has cucumber and a hint of agave. I think tequila is the primary ingredient but it's not a margarita. It was refreshing and offered just the right hint of sweetness. My husband who is a big fan of Old Fashioned drinks had one and boy, was it good! No, it wasn't good, it was delicious! I don't like Old Fashioneds but this one was absolutely incredible. We will return just for the drinks.

The food itself was delicious, even though it has minimal offerings for vegetarians. The Impossible Burger is the only choice, but it was cooked well and the fries were good. Our other party member had a traditional burger and raved about it as well.

We found out they have live entertainment every night, starting at around 9 p.m., so we will return for that.

Overall, this is a fabulous place with an impressive bar, good food offerings, excellent service and an overall good vibe. Looking forward...

Dark, Abraham Lincoln-themed restaurant & bar with live music on the weekends. $30 minimum spend per person when there’s a band performing. We had a reservation for five people at 7pm on a Saturday and we needed the entire party to arrive before we got seated. Indoor dining only (no outdoor seating). There’s bar seating as well as tables - it’s good for big groups as well as date nights. Food-wise, there’s a mix of Mexican, American, and Asian. The band that performed when we went was an 80s cover band, and they were pretty good. Our waiter was nice and checked in often to refill our waters. Note that if you get a beer, you’ll have to ask for a separate frosted glass (otherwise they’ll only give you the bottle). The Cajun pasta I had was a generous portion and very creamy. I liked the Mongolian beef too. The shrimp tacos were ok. Street parking available. The bathrooms are in the back behind the Abe Lincoln mural. Credit cards accepted.
