So tonight we decided to try this spot in old town covina, they are currently allowing dinning but outdoors in a makeshift area of the street, but its decorated with amber lighting and easy ups and closed off with street barricades , anyhow the atmosphere is nice, it really does feel cozy with the weather cooling off a bit, so to the food part, I had a spaghetti with clams and scallops, let me just say it was delicious, I can feel and taste the oil that was lightly sauted with the garlic, I could taste the clammy texture that paired delightfully with the tomatoes, all just melted in my mouth, our server was funny and knowledgeable, just made our first experience that much nicer, here are some pics of our meal, well at least the few I got to snap of because I was so focused on devouring the delicious food, did I mention the bread was to die for, although they say to stay away from bread because it takes up real estate in your stomach, their bread is freshly baked, mix it with some oil and vinegar CA-POW its amazing! The bread just almost melts in your mouth , it's so warm and buttery I was eager to ask for another basket full, but I had to leave room for my dish, so there you have it people, I highly recommend this spot, yall won't be disappointed. 👍🏻👍🏻

My girlfriend and I frequent this establishment once in a blue moon, however after our experience last evening I believe we may enjoy this fine restaurant more often. I will concede that we had our sights on a barbecue joint up the street from Pane e Vino. However as we walked past this establishment and saw the lively ambiance we decided to change our venue of choice. I'm very glad we did. We started off with the shrimp fried mozzarella, lets just say there wasn't a bite left to be had. Then as too our main dishes my girlfriend opted for a salmon dish which she thoroughly enjoyed and I went for my usual the piggy pizza. Delicious all around. We also enjoyed a few rounds of drinks from their fine selection. As to the prices, yes I dropped a little over a c note for our fine meal but you know what.. Good food costs money and I have no issue with that. This isn't a poor man's restaurant and if your the type that hates opening your bill fold a little wider than I'm sure there's a olive garden somewhere down the road. 5 stars to Pane e Vino.

This is a small hole in the wall place that is definitely worth the stop for. We came out to see a show at the Laugh Factory, and this was a short 2 to 3 min walk. I am pretty picky, and this place superceded any expectations I had. The service was great l, efficient, and everything was delicious. Hubby and I split plates as we wanted to try each other's food. The portions are just right, not too big or small, but very filling. We got the tortellini with chicken, rigatoni with house sausage, and the caprese salad. Their Sangria was so good, you can really taste the fruit flavors. This place is a definite win as we happen to be in the area but worth coming back to despite us living 40 min away. We spent about $90 to include hubby's 1 beer, a little higher than average but with every bit. If you're going to thr Laugh Factory I highly suggest to come here before a show as you won't regret it and will be satisfied you ate good food before a show.

Very hard and dry chicken Parmigiano, sour spaghetti. This very small and low ceiling restaurant makes me feel very confined and depressing when I walked in. Needless to say that parking was difficult before I arrived. The space was very narrow, dark and small, almost impossible to walk to the restroom if a waiter happened to walk with you at the same time. However, the worst thing is about the food. I ordered a chicken Parmigiano. The reason was that I was not able to find another decent and healthy meat dish to choose from, since they even use ground beef for all the beaf dishes in this Italian restaurant. The chicken was very hard and dry, and it didn't taste like the famous Italian dishes with garlic and capers, and other spices with the unique aroma. I think that Olive Garden can do a much better job with this common Chicken Parmigiano. I was very disappointed! Moreover, they didn't give you a decent amount of bread and sauce, but just a few drops of olive oil and vinegar in a very small and shallow dish for two people, so we have to keep asking for refills. Since the space between tables and pathway were so small, so I felt that the waiter was going to knock off my water cups and candle from my super small dinning table. As a summary, this was a disaster experience for me to come here for the first time. I was so eager to get out of this dark and super crowded Italian restaurant with very poor quality of "...

My friend and I were looking for a nice quiet Italian place to eat on a friday night so we picked this place. There was only one table sat so that was great. The server who was older was so rush rush with us. I couldn't understand why because there were only one other party sat in there. I was asking about the meals and how big they were and his response was, " you know there like medium". I asked how big medium is and he said, like medium. He said the same thing about the chicken. He brought the focacia bread and it was cold. I asked if he could bring warm bread and he seemed a little put off. I added chicken to my Tortillini and the chicken was pink. Ugh! I'm not eating undercooked chicken. We asked for warm bread several times and realized he took our vinegar and oil and gave it to another table. He was so rushed the whole time and seemed a little irritated to have to answer our questions but we had never been there before and I had questions. My food was OK except the uncooked chicken and my friends food was so so. Focacia was really good. I travel alot and dine out all over the place. I was...
