Stopped tonight for dinner with a friend. Was greeted at the door by a young lady who was nice and took us outside to our seat. She said to the guy standing next to her before we walked out something along the lines of “do you want them outside.” When I got outside we were sat at a table to the right of the door. The table was nice, it was private and large enough that we could get some work done while we waited. Waited is what we did. The table next to us was supposed to have the same server (I assume) because he never showed up and another server took care of them. Finally he showed up and apologized for taking so long. “He didn’t know that we were out there”... which isn’t true, as he was the one standing with the young lady at the front door when we came in. He took our drink order and an appetizer order. Then we never saw him again. Another server brought out the appetizer, and he did not return until our appetizer was gone, only to see if we needed anything. Yes we did... to order our food and not wait forever for it. We ordered a cheeseburger on a pretzel bun. I specified no onion or sauce, but with mayo. My friend ordered a lamb burger and a side salad to start with. Once again he never returned. Another lady who I can only assume was a manager because she didn’t have the typical uniform on brought our meals. The following was wrong with our meals: I was not given mayo, nor were there pickles (the menu specifically states (LTOP) The menu lists pub chips and French onion dip at no additional cost. I was given French fries, and then CHARGED FOR THEM. When that was never discussed. My friend asked to start with a side salad. What came on his plate was just a burger. No chips or fries Or the salad for that matter. I do not know if he was charged for the salad in addition or not.The lady who I assume was a manager of some kind did a good job and getting the things that were missing. however it was unfortunately too late at that point.
He only showed back up and brought the checks, and didn’t ask if it was 2 separate bills or one together. My friend is a guy, and I find it rude to not ask how we would like to pay. Who knows how we would have done it. Then he continued to take a long time to cash out the checks. Overall, dinner at the sports grill was almost 3 hours! Completely ridiculous!...

On the Sports bar side of things, this is a very nice place to go enjoy having drinks with a few friends. They have TVs everywhere and if the game you want is being televised, they will likely have it on. It gets a little noisy in the main section if there is a lot of people there but you can only expect that on friday and saturday nights.
There is a separate section off the side that is a bit more restaurant like with booths and tables that is a nice place for a family to eat. (That includes a small section off the side where the littler kids can play and leave the grown ups be but be in sight)
The food here is fantastic but you need to understand that your going to sports grille. They have excellent sandwiches, wings, salads and even pizza. It is definitely much better then your typical bar food you would expect. They have obviously made it a point to serve quality food with nice dinner options but the kind you would expect. The drink prices are a little higher then a few places in the area but still pretty good. The draft selection is very nice with about 16 to 20 options plus bottled items. Prices range from $3 to $7 for a beer depending on brand. My wife really enjoys their long islands including the different flavored kinds like strawberry kiwi.
The staff I left for last because they were all around very good. They are super friendly and very happy to get you everything you need. Even after going for my 3rd time they remembered me put me in a great seat to watch the game I came for.
Great place, please go and give...
Read moreWe hosted our rehearsal dinner at Cranberry Sports Grille, and it was absolutely perfect! The private event room was already set up when we arrived, which made it so easy to just relax and enjoy the evening with our family and bridal party. The atmosphere was fun and laid-back, and the live music on the patio added a great touch that our guests really enjoyed. Dana, our server, was nothing short of incredible. She handled a group of about 40 people all on her own—with energy, professionalism, and such a fun personality. She kept everything moving smoothly and made everyone feel taken care of despite the size of the group. We truly can't say enough good things about her! The menu was a great mix of appetizers, pasta, pizza, and salad—delicious and crowd-pleasing. We worked with the manager ahead of time to choose dishes and portion sizes, and they nailed it. The amount of food was just right—plenty to go around, but not a mountain of leftovers. We highly recommend Cranberry Sports Grille for a rehearsal dinner or any special event. The food was great, the staff was fantastic, and the whole evening...
