The Spot Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Cranston

We drive by this place when going to Dave's all the time and the parking lot is always empty. Decided to try it out and the poor waitress hadn't been able to clean off ANY of the tables. She quickly finished with another customer and cleaned a table off for us. Service was great, just sad to see so little help.

The room was filled with smoke from the kitchen, made it a little hard to breathe. A couple women behind us ordered food but you could tell they had been waiting a while- or maybe their burgers were burnt? They got food in to-go boxes, hastily ate from them, and left promptly. I don't think they'll be back either.

My drink was ok, pretty light for a Cosmo, my partner got a Lemon Drop and we're pretty sure it was just straight lemon juice. The salmon had to have been frozen, tasted fishy but was edible. Salad and mash were good. My partner ordered steak tips and received a steak instead, which that smelled off. He promplty threw up as soon as we got home.

Not a single soul came in to eat or drink the entire time we were there. The atmosphere was really odd. Not sure the vibe it's trying to give off. Gold and velvet barber chairs? White booths, black walls, and neon pink, green, and red lights.. The bar has a design on it that resembles "Gucci Slides".

Over all I gave a 3 stars because it feels like someone is trying their best, it's just...

Arrived an hour before a show at the Historic Park Theatre. Waitress was very nice but that was about it. It took 50 minutes from walking in to get dinner sered for the three of us and the place was not full at all. Drinks were overpriced and weak (Margarita for two was 50% ice and cost $35). Two of of us got the steak tips which was basically a steak cut into strips. Mashed potatoes were cold and fries were overcooked. Visited for the first time due to FOOD FIGHTS WINGS, we were greeted as soon as we entered the door and were sat immediately. The server was super nice and checked in on us repeatedly. We ordered bbq teriyaki wings and sweet Chili both were amazing and the sweet chili was exactly what you want when you order that flavor.
