I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and decided to have dinner here tonight with my friend. We walked in and it was like a ghost town. There was less than 10 tables sat in the whole restaurant so it wasn’t busy. We waited at the host stand for 7-10 minutes before a server finally stopped by to seat us. We then waited another 15-20 minutes for our server to greet us and ask what we wanted to drink. At that point we were ready to order. The only 2 servers working walked past us multiple times. I wish I were exaggerating about how long we had been waiting. I’m a server myself and would never imagine giving this kind of service. With that being said I completely understand being busy and taking a little longer than normal but we were one of like 9 tables in the whole restaurant. The waitress finally came over and asked what we would like to drink and we ended up giving our whole order. We were starving so we ordered an appetizer hoping it would come out quick. Fast forward and our seafood boil ended up coming out in less than 10 minutes and our appetizer followed 5 minutes behind it. I’m not sure if she felt bad that we waited so long so she had the kitchen rush our food or what, but I digress. The other waitress brought our appetizer out and our server was near and she seemed as if she forgot about the appetizer because she had a surprised look on her face when the other waitress dropped it off to us. The seafood boil was good, but wasn’t really hot, just warm so it was getting cold as we were eating. I hate to leave poor reviews, but I work hard for my money and at the price you’re paying to eat here, service should be much better. Maybe it was just an off night, who knows, but hopefully it’s better next time...
Read moreright off the bat, the hostess but now learned is the manager, was extremely rude. I think his name was Chris. He said we don’t seat tables after 855 (it was 856) and that it would be inconveniencing the cooks (although they cook TOGO orders until 9:15) we said we were stuck in gridlock traffic so we were a minute late, he reluctantly sat us and rudely mentioned the 930 closing time. Server at first came off sweet, but partially into our meal started to rush us to the point where we felt so unwelcomed. Rushing through our dinner, almost done, the manager walked by and said it’s 15 minutes past close. I’ve worked in the restaurant business as a server/manager for over 15 years and I would NEVER have treated my customers this way, even after close. We chose not to tip, which I never do because I’m a server, so you know it was pretty bad. As we were pulling out, a random waitress runs outside and starts yelling about why we didn’t tip. I stated how I would never have treated guests that away, and she said we served you after closing time. I said we came in 5 minutes til 9, you close at 930. She was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I said I’d like to talk to the manager and she said he’s inside! (The hostess) I have never in my life felt this unwelcomed, and honestly harassed by an establishment/service worker in my life. I’ve seen countless reviews saying similar things to mine, and I see you comment back that you’ll see that things change and that’s not normal for your team, etc an excuse as to why your employees treated your paying customers with disrespect, but as of August 13th 2024 there has been no change. Read moreI’ve been here many times and have had good experiences prior. I’ve never sent anything back there however last night the crab legs looked pitiful with numerous legs missing from each cluster. I got 3 clusters and they all were missing legs and tiny with dark spots on some. They say they weigh them however everytime I’ve come and I’ve gotten 1lb I’ve gotten 3 clusters and usually they are much fuller and nice looking clusters unlike the ones I received last night. My sons crab came out better. The ones I received tonight looked like they probably shouldn’t have been served. I told the waitress about my crab and how they looked pitiful compared to normal, she was nice and took my dish back. But almost immediately some other lady comes back to my table and proceeds to tell me I’m wrong and they are fine instead of just trying to make it right and provide good quality service and food. I also serve and the restaurant I serve at would never do such a thing, they would fix the food and apologize. I wasn’t asking for all my food to be redone just a better looking cluster of legs would have been sufficient. The lady proceeded to argue with me about it even though I told her I’d been there numerous times and never had this issue. So I finally just said forget it and I kept my poor quality legs. The shrimp and sauce where all good and I’ll probably go back again eventually but when your paying $50 for one meal it should be high quality so I’m definitely disappointed.
