Great place to come in on a Saturday. We arrived at 2:30, immediately sat at a Hibachi table. We ordered drinks, and then placed our food order. I ordered the chicken and steak with fried rice, my husband ordered chicken yakisoba, and then we ordered spring rolls. We enjoyed a salad, and soup, the salad was really delicious I enjoyed the dressing very creamy. Then the show began, we were the only people at the table so it was great. The fried rice was disappointing it was just rice and soy sauce no veggies it did have egg, but for $2.50 more I expected way more especially since we could have gotten the steamed rice and dumped soy sauce over it and boom essentially the same thing! My husband wasn’t real impressed with the yakisoba noodles they were very thin and barely had any flavor to them. My son loved them tho and he’s 3 so that’s good he likes bland food. The chicken and steak and the shrimp were cooked to temperature but by the time all our food was done my rice was cold. The spring rolls were delicious veggies and shrimp fried in paper and served with a tangy sauce over top for dipping. Pricing was a bit unsettling I don’t mind paying for good quality food but the prices were a bit steep for the taste quality. We frequent various eateries often so I value flavor over price any day. The food wasn’t terrible don’t get me wrong my expectations were just too high because we were told this establishment was great to go too. The only factor I didn’t feel was up to par was the flavor, it wasn’t there for the main course. I did order a side of the dressing that went on the salad to dip my vegetables in which seemed to make up for the blandness. The staff was very friendly and quick with the service. We enjoyed the performance by the cook. We will visit again and try different items and evaluate a new review from that visit. I hope this helps you guys, visit and try something other and leave them a review as well!!!

I hate writing bad reviews about restaurants that have so much potential, but this place was awful. Yes it was a busy night but really no excuse for the quality of the food. Ordered sushi appetizers and expected to get it then our salad and then our main course one after the other like his normal. But we got the soup and salad first then the main course and finally are appetizer in that order but also at the same time. The sushi was a mess. You couldn't even pick it up to eat it. It was supposed to have mango in it and I think I saw a couple little pieces but mostly it was just mango flavored sauce dumped on top. We got two two rolls. One was supposed to have fish row on it and the other was not and they got them mixed up. Put the fish row on my wife's which of course she does not like. You would think sushi chefs would know what goes on their rolls they're making and selling. I got the salmon. My wife got the chicken both with a dark sauce which normally has lots of flavor at every other Japanese restaurant we've been to but not this place. The sauce had no flavor. No spice nothing. And the chicken and salmon were both overcooked and dry. We didn't get the hibachi because we didn't need a show and don't want to have food thrown at us but that's the only reason to come here.

I really was looking forward to this but it was disappointing. Menu has vegetarian options but they feel like an afterthought, not authentic or very flavorful. Felt like I was getting kitchen scraps. Ordered vegetable tempura and it was only sweet potato, onion, and some sort of white squash. Was soggy and I had to re-crisp them up in the oven. I felt like there should’ve been mushrooms, tofu, peppers, asparagus, or lotus root, not just watery vegetables. I also ordered the vegetable roll with the mango, and the mango was completely unripe and crunchy so I had to remove it from each slice. Vegetable ramen unfortunately had no tofu which is pretty standard for vegetable ramen. Ramen noodles were overcooked and really mushy. Broth was okay and tasted like a mushroom broth maybe. Vegetables on top of vegetable ramen also felt like an afterthought and looked like veggie scraps from the restaurant. It was topped with some carrot, red onion, a couple pieces of broccoli, shredded lettuce?, the middle part of cucumbers, and 2 brown-speckled snow pea pods.

I decided that my boys and I would go to this particular restaurant based on the reviews...4.4 stars. It was pretty busy when we arrived, so the wait for the hibachi grill was 30 min. I decided we would just get a regular table. Not as warm of a welcome you'd think from a restaurant with 4.4 stars. The waitress was busy waiting on tables and hibachi grill customers, which seemed like a bit much for her. She got our drinks right away, then asked if we were ready to order and we weren't, so she said she would come back. Then another group was seated next to us. At about 15 min or so I'm looking for her to place our full order, she is at the hibachi, then other tables, then taking the table next to ours full order before ours!? Long story short, I had the bill and last min. I thought let me check Groupon for a coupon. I found one and presented it to the waitress, my bill was 49.49....the coupon said if you spend 50.00 or more 10.00 will be taken off. I thought maybe she wouldn't sweat it...little did I know... .51cents she said I needed to spend 50.00....when I gave her a look of "seriously" she mentioned I could buy another drink to take with us. So I agreed, she brought the adjusted bill with the coupon showing as 9.60 off...SMH...when I asked the waitress about why the bill reflected 9.60 off instead of 10.00, she said she didn't know why that happened, I just left it alone. Not at all in the agreement of 4.4 stars! Wonder if it was due to being the only black family (that I saw) in the restaurant??? Now that's something to...
