This establishment MAY have good ice cream, but they are terrible employers. My daughter messaged them several times asking for more hours and they left her on read. I have screenshots prove this. They did not schedule her for THREE weeks straight instead of letting her go. Then, when my daughter came to buy ice cream (not to complain about lack of hours) they told her it was not a good fit. Why was this not told to her three weeks prior instead of not scheduling her? Every single employee there complains about the woman boss and how she mis treats her employees. She is the definition of misery loves company. My daughter loved working there and just took the mis treatment from them and it hurts my feelings to see my child being mis treated and just taking the mis treatment. Don't let your kids work here. They lied to my daughter and said they were out of town but we live close and SAW them there at their establishment. They are liars. Protect your kids. Yes I called to tell them how bad they treated my daughter before they respond to my post lying and...
Read moreGoofee G's in Crest Hill, IL is a nice locally owned place that has become a favorite of mine. This homemade ice cream shop offers an array of delicious flavors.
The large outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying your treat on a sunny day, and the convenience of both a drive-thru and a walk-up window makes it easy to get your ice cream fix; however, you prefer. Whether you're grabbing a quick treat on the go or planning to sit and savor your ice cream, Goofee G's has you covered.
One of the best features of Goofee G's is its pet-friendly atmosphere. They offer a special "pup-cup" of ice cream topped with a dog treat, which my dog absolutely loves. It’s wonderful to have a place where both you and your furry friend can enjoy a tasty treat together.
Overall, Goofee G's offers a delightful experience with its homemade ice cream, ample outdoor seating, and thoughtful pet-friendly touches. It's a perfect spot for ice cream lovers and pet owners alike. Highly recommend stopping by and supporting this fantastic...
Read moreIf you want to pay outrageous prices for subpar ice cream, then this is your place. I mean, 4 dollars for a single scoop of ice cream, come on! And it's a small scoop, trust. The place looks great, that's where it starts and ends. The names of the flavors are gimmicky to get you to buy in. Tried the chocolate meets peanut butter, the chocolate has an off taste, can't put my finger on it. There was one giant frozen chunk of pb in the ice cream which I couldn't break up so it was just a mouthful of a frozen glob of pb. Which normally would be ok, but it was too much and the chocolate didn't pair well with it. The drive thru is conveniently located right in front of the walkway to the walk-up window. So if a car is ordering, be prepared to walk across a lawn, sorry anyone with a wheel chair or walker, you'll just have to wait. Do your tastebuds and your wallet a favor and just head over...
