Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Crestview

Please do not expect great customer service. I ordered an XL pizza on 1/15/2024 and it was completely wet when I brought it home. I was told by the manager that was working that night that he would provide a credit on my account so that I can reorder a new 1 at a later date. As I was not able to drive back out there for a new pizza. I asked if he wanred me to bring pictures and he said no. But i had to put the entire pizza in the trash that night . I called back for my new pizza on 1/23 and the person that answered the phone. Michael stated that he did not see a credit. I told him to see who was working on January 15th as the manager and he said that they do paper schedules and there is no way to know because they are thrown away. So here I am. He made no effort to even put me on hold and ask the staff members (since they throw them away) no sense of customer service at all! So I guess it's fine that I'm out of almost $30.00 for 1 pizza. How hard would it really be just to put a little effort to find out who gave me the...

This place is okay. The food is decent and they are one of the few pizza places that deliver good salads.

That being said, my orders arrive incorrect about 50% of the time. This last time, we had a vegetarian friend over who ordered the pizza bowl with pineapple. Instead of pineapple, it arrived covered in pepperoni. My order input was correct, and even the ticket said pineapple, but they used pepperoni. I ended up having to give my friend my salad so she could eat something. Very frustrating.

I've complained before to management and I'm offered a store credit, but it never actually shows up on my account, so I don't bother to call/email anymore.

Such a shame they no longer deliver off painter branch anymore. They screwed up my orders a lot, but I liked them. The drivers will miss me - 10-20 tip every time... sigh.

Update: you know, if this were my franchise - I would have reached out to me or commented. It's not like delivery was free. I'd even pay a higher charge for the convenience.

If I'm going to pick up pizza, I'm more likely to go to Hideaway, Marco's, Pizza Hut, or Pappa John's.

The loss of delivery, (and never doing extra, much less triple cheese on my orders - tho, I never complained because it's the drivers who suffer, not those actually responsible) and the lack of concern...
