McDonald's — Restaurant in Crestview

On August 4,2025 around 1400 hours, my wife and I along with our kids, stopped by McDonald's on South Ferdon Blvd for some cook to order food. We pulled up to the drive through after waiting for about 20 minutes for the vehicle in front of us to pull to the window to retrieve their food. We then placed and ordered of 4 small fries, 1 kids cheese Burger combo, Hi C and sweet Tea light ice. We then completed our order and pulled to the window to discover that only the fries was not fresh and had been soaked in grease. We politely asked for some more fries and advised the young lady that the fries was not fresh at all. She kindly told the male manger on duty that was wearing a red shirt, black pants with red facial hair, who i seen aggressively snatch the bag from the young lady and walk to the window and said in a disrespectful way, to my wife and I, that he was not giving us any more fries and either we can take these fries and leave or we can just get a refund and get out of his driveway! We said sir, we just want some fresh cooked fries thats not been sitting in grease. The same manger then got angry and called the Crestview Police Dept, while waiting on the police, my wife and I walked inside to see if we could speak to another manger. While waiting, the manager who were disrespectful, continued to say smart remarks to us. Constantly repeating, yall not getting anymore fries and police are on their way. At this time, I believe another manger dressed in a blue and white striped shirt and blue jeans , that was not on duty at the time, had walked into the business and started talking to the employees and the disrespectful manger. After speaking with everyone. The manger then politely walked over to us and asked what happened and which we stated that we ordered some cook to ordered food and instead we received some greasy cold fries. He then asked us several times, they didn't exchange yall for fresh fries and we stated no! The manger dressed in the in the blue and striped shirt walked to the fryer and personally cooked us some fresh fries. At this time Crestview Police had pulled up and retrieve out driver license and began to check status and locals on my wife and I. My wife and I had no worries because we don't get into trouble. The officer's advised that the manger said we were banned from the property and we was to return, we would be trespassing. Iv never in my life been treated some disrespectfully and unprofessional. I personally don't eat McDonald's but our kids do. I pray that someone rectify this manger decision making asap before a lawsuit take place in the near future from the next bad encounter from another customer!! To hold a position like that, you must have professionalism and I didn't see any. You can definitely tell that the disrespectful manger haven't had any training at all, this was definitely a horrible and embarrassing...

If I didn't have to give it a star I wouldn't! This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been too! I just want to get something quick to eat haven't eaten much all day and so I thought hey why not McDonald's it's right down the road! I get there they took my order fine no one was in front of me so I drove around got my payment ready got to the window sat there for about 10 minutes as the lady took three other people's orders thought well maybe she is new so I go to the next window and the girl asked what did you order? I told her everything (I saw two milk shakes sitting there) she handed me my two drinks then asked me again what food did you order? I told her everything I ordered she stood there for a long time finally I got my food I thought I might want to stop and check to make sure it's right! Well they forgot a small fry for one of the kids so I put the break on go inside there was four workers standing there talking no one was in line to order anything so I kid you not I stood there for a good 10-15 minutes! The girl at the widow was like yes the person who ordered these just left I get one and another dude that was at the front was like I want the other well she walks past me a second time looked at me and took the milk shake to her boyfriend who was sitting there next to the counter top and said here hold this for me baby it's free! Shocked I watched as she walked past again and finally the manager comes up to the front and said something to one of the workers about something looked at me standing there and continues to talk to another worker! As I'm standing there he finally says can I help you? I said yes sir I just went thru the drive thru and they forgot a small fry! He got me the fry and hands it to me and just walks off I said thank you sir but still he walks off no apology or anything! I was even more shocked to get that from a manager from the store! I get in the car to eat my food I had ordered and the fries were hard like candy not hot or warm or anything! Like they had been sitting there since this morning! 😷 sweet tea was on point tho! But never again am I going to this one to order food! If I get sick in the next couple of weeks I'll know who it's from! 🤒 just letting y'all know if you're ever in Crestview or on i10 near the Crestview exit to avoid McDonald's in front of Walmart right near...

Did the mobile app order, because you know...it's 2021. Watched 3 loops of vehicles go around the building through the drive thru. We sat there for 26 minutes waiting for a plain hamburger, fries and 6 nuggets. Finally left the truck and knocked on the window (door was locked). A guy came to the door, who wasn't in a uniform of any sort, poked his head out and said "we'll check on it", came back and said it was taking so long because they had to put some new fries down..........we were there for 26 effing minutes. I could've cleaned, peeled, chopped and fried fresh fries in that time. Just come out straight and say we forgot your order..or whatever happened. Don't lie. Sat for another 4 minutes. Then our food came out. They forgot one drink. When I told her they forgot a drink, in a joking tone said, "oh did weee". This place is garbage. The nuggets are on the verge of burnt. The burgers appear to be put together by toddlers. Very disappointed. Crestview McDonalds, youre food is subpar at best, customer service is garbage, your employees don't give a sh*t about the customers. Fire everyone, and start fresh. Until then, I'll head to whataburger. While I have to generally wait forever there as well, at least their food is 10x better than yours.

Update Feb '23: tried it again. Still garbage. Took 20 minutes to get food. Happy meal missing a hamburger. Went in to get hamburger. Told them hamburger with ketchup and pickles. The employee verified TWICE. Received hamburger after 5 min. Missing pickles. Asked for a cup of pickles, took them 3 min to get the pickles. Total time spent at McDonald's, 29 min...all to get a double cheeseburger meal, and a hamburger happy meal.
