Our experience started before even entering the establishment. We parked and we were helping our children get out of the car while we got to listen to a waitress from the hub on the phone reprimanding someone on the other end of the phone call. We literally had to turn sideways to get past her with our kids so we could even get in the restaurant. As we went inside no one said a word to us. Even though there were several people standing up front who were clearly supposed to be seating people. We didn't know if we were supposed to help ourselves or wait, it was very unclear what we were supposed to do. Finally after we sat and waited on the small bench they have up front for a bit, the same girl that had been standing there the entire time told us "we can go sit down". The first thing you notice at sitting down is... the way the owner has arranged the seating (clearly their only concern was to pack absolutely as many people in the establishment as humanly possible) you and your party get to sit cheek to cheek with the people dining on both sides of you, and listen to there conversation. It's literally impossible to not hear every single word both sides are saying. The second thing you notice is the owner has pasted her political views all over the walls. I don't really care who you voted for. But it's another thing all together for me to pay money to get to come look at your clearly hateful view of things. It obviously was the bright idea of the same person that decided that dining cheek to cheek with the other guests was a good idea. This is all before we even get a menu. Then as the server (who was both clearly frustrated, but kind) gives us a menu she explains they are having issues in the kitchen and they are way behind. Which I actually appreciated. I would rather know up front that it's going to be a wait then sit wondering what is going on. We decided to wait because they did have a salad bar @$13.99. On line when we looked up the menu before coming they described the salad bar as "the biggest salad bar in crestview" we found the salad bar to be small and over priced. To make a long story short we ordered hamburgers medium only to get rare (im fine with a rare steak but a rare hamurger not as much). I was able to pay for extra toppings that never came with my hamburger, almost everything including the chipotle ketchup was an extra charge. Our side of sweet potato fries came covered in sugar. NOT a good experience. We left after tipping our server well. With a bad taste...
Read moreDo not eat at the HUB in Crestview. They advertise on the internet and on the menu that they have beer and wine. They don't have either. The food was too salty and overpriced. My son ordered a hotdog and macaroni and cheese. The hotdog looked like it came from a gas station. My granddaughter ordered a hamburger with macaroni and cheese. The meat looked artificial and old, like it had been reheated. The Mac and cheese wasn't made with real cheese. My grandson ordered chicken fingers and macaroni and cheese. The chicken looked okay but I didn't taste it. My daughter and I both ordered Philly cheese steak and fries. The steak on the Philly was burned in some places and tasted like it had been reheated several times. It had a strange flavor or aftertaste. The fries tasted like they had been cooked in old grease. We also ordered a trio appetizer which consisted of fried pickles, fried green tomatoes and fried cheese curds. The pickles were pretty but way too salty. The cheese curds seemed to be what the kids enjoyed the most. The fried green tomatoes were good. employees were salty. None of us finished our food. The prices versus quality was a no go. The dining set up is lacking in both space and ambience. We were seated next to a large group of people holding a business meeting which was a fail, since we had three kids and the booth seat runs along the entire wall with no separate seating. The bathroom was NASTY. There was feces all over the lid, seat and inside the toilet in the women's bathroom. This place is not family/kid friendly. I would not recommend going there at all. I have eaten better food at fast food...

Stepping inside, we were immediately enveloped in an inviting atmosphere that made us feel truly relaxed. The decor was particularly interesting, with one wall showcasing a fascinating collection of presidential portraits, while the opposite walls were adorned with historical memorabilia, creating a unique and engaging backdrop to our meal. The gentle hum of conversation created a comfortable and welcoming soundscape. My half-pound burger arrived cooked to absolute perfection, and it was so incredibly juicy that I found myself reaching for several napkins! The delicious patty was nestled within a soft brioche bun and topped with perfectly melted American cheese, along with crisp lettuce and ripe tomatoes. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor. Our waitress was an absolute delight; she was not only very friendly with a warm smile but also incredibly attentive, ensuring our drinks were always filled and checking in on us without being intrusive. Her excellent service truly enhanced our dining experience and added to the welcoming atmosphere created by the entire staff. This delightful meal provided a much-needed respite from our busy afternoon, and after we left the restaurant, we went back to their place and relaxed by the pool for the rest of the afternoon – a perfect end to a perfect day. Without a doubt, this restaurant will be a priority on our next trip, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and...
