Worst Waffle House in history!!! If I could give 0 * I would. I have been in before for a quick drink but wanted to sit for breakfast. I sat down, Tara waited on me. I didn't want anyone else because not one knows how to smile and frankly, some of them have questionable hygiene. Sorry but if you can't take 5 minutes to brush your teeth, you don't need to be around my food. I ordered eggs, bacon, and ham. The eggs were under cooked, the whites were still runny, bacon was burned to a crisp (didn't eat it at all) not to mention, Carl, the cook did t wear gloves which is just plain nasty. The only enjoyable thing about the meal was the ham, tasted pretty good. Either way, the place was not very clean. There was mold all around the sink, the waffle makers were so disgusting (the reason I wouldn't get a waffle), and the floors were riddled with mold and funk. Granted I know a restaurant can't be spick and span all the time but try to put some effort into cleaning. When asked for a manager to complain about the food, I was told there was no manager and he is hardly ever there. What place doesn't have a manager on duty??? I tried to get the name of a manager and I was told Mario or Brad. Even after this ordeal, Mario won't return my calls (poor excuse for a manager). Maybe one day Tara will quit this place, God knows she is better than it. This place is only good for people that can't get a job anywhere else or have absolutely no skills...
Read moreThe food is great, the employees are great, and the vibe is great; but local management has a lot of growing to do.... The District Manager, Kyrsten, was very unprofessional in her conduct with me. I'm also not a fan of how often the Waffle House, Inc raises their prices- a "temporary per egg surcharge"... Really? Yet it takes them years to raise employee wages; I've never seen temporary wage increases due to inflation, have you?!
Employees not being supported or paid well shows, even though they generate immense value for Waffle House.
I would go here more often if they implemented a bike rack outside. Many customers and employees utilize bicycles at this location, so a more secure spot with weather protection would be an appreciated upgrade.
I would also encourage Waffle House corporate to include more native plants and shade in store lots, as well as solar panel systems to power the store, cars, and more.
LGBTQ+ Customers| Restrooms are single-use, private rooms, and both are wheel-chair accessible, though the area may be kind of tight and awkward to maneuver. Generally, the staff here are welcoming, and I haven't heard of significant issues, though the company is not explicitly LGBTQ+ friendly. Assert your pronouns if wait-staff assume incorrectly. As a former employee... The local management chain (from store manager to Area Vice President) tolerates LGBT+ employees, but they don't...
Read moreMy server was really nice and very on top of things and the food was really good... I only have one complaint. There was a worker there, she had glasses and dark hair in ponytail with a visor and she was not our server. She was screaming and hollering at another employee and looked like all the other employees as well. She was very unprofessional and I was embarrassed for the girl she was yelling at. I have never in my life seen somebody who was so unprofessional and unkind to another human being. It was uncalled for to act that way in front of staff and customers. I don't care what the other person did, there is no reason to treat another human being like that. This happened today 6/20/21 at 10 am. If there's an issue to be handled, it needed to be behind closed doors and definitely not in front of other staff and customers. I have sit in a message to the...
