This is probably one of the worst Popeyes I have ever been to. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS! They do not know what those words even mean! Supposedly they fired 2 cooks so they are short staffed. I just visited your establishment about 20 mins ago. First thing first..... every time you call the store no answer! Want to get in touch with the Manager/General Manager? No Answer! Will not return calls, is never in the store. Now Story time: We go in to get applications to apply to work at this location. We ask if the general manager is there to speak with her in person since she will not return phone calls or messages. We ask the woman at the front counter “ Is Devin available”? She says “She is not here today”? We ask when will she be in and if you can get in contact with her now. The woman then says I can find out for you and takes out her cell phone sitting on the register. I guess called Devin and at first couldn’t get ahold of her. She cakes back and then turns to the gentleman in the drive thru who name is Angel and says “do you know where Devin is”? He says “Why”?! Very loudly and defensively. “We say we have been trying to get ahold of her”. He says “For What”?! 😦 “We say so we can talk to her about the service here and wrong orders”. He then proceeds to go into how “We are doing our best and we are short staffed and it’s not our fault”. We told him “no one said it was your fault you need help, which is why we are trying to get in contact with the Manager”. He says “It’s not her fault either the owners only care about Labor cost”. So we asked who is the owner of the store? He says “I don’t know”! He was extremely defensive about Devin so we asked if he was related to her and he says yes. We ask how are you related to her and he says “She’s my friend”. I’m sure there is a bit more going on between Angel and Devin based off his reaction. So then the lady at the front comes back and I am guessing talked to Devin because she comes back and says that Devin won’t be in until tomorrow or Tuesday. So we ask do you know who the Owner of this building is? She proceeds with the NASTIEST attitude to roll her eyes and say she doesn’t know. I don’t know what kind of establishment you are running here but it has got to STOP! I have never experienced anything like that before. You are the only fried chicken place in this specific area. YOU HAVE TO DO BETTER. You have the potiential to do great things. You need a revamp on your staff and the new staff that comes in needs to be properly trained! If you would like a successful restaurant where your ratings go up, you attract customers, and most importantly money, Call me I will give you my resume I have over 6 years experience in restaurant & account management and I promise you under my management this place will be run with the utmost respect, pride, & customer service. There is no reason you should not be the best in this area right now. It’s not rocket science and it can be...

If I could give zero stars I would. Tonight I pulled up at the drive through at 9:45 pm. There was a line of cars already in the drive through and about 2 ahead of me to still order and about 3 cars were after me. By the time I pulled up to the speaker to place my order it was 10:01 and a man named Angel said "were closed" and refused to take my order. I explained I have been waiting over 15 minutes in line and was here well before closing and that the line was moving slow, still he refused, he said "its 10:02 we close at 10" I asked for a manager he said he was the manager. Then a woman got on the speaker, I believe she said her name was Tiana. She also said that they were closed and could not take my order. I explained to her that I had been in line for over 15 minutes. Still she refused and when I explained my frustration of waiting and having other options like parking and going inside to order before closing and asked why they didn't send an employee outside to close the drive through lane if they werent going to be able to accomodate everyone before closing, and how I couldve taken my business elsewhere and not wasted my time waiting in their drive through line. she said that she has no way of seeing how many cars are in the drive through lane and can't just send employees outside like that & not only that but that they are "out of pretty much everything " and said "I don't know what you want me to do" I asked for a coupon for my wasted time and unappreciated business she refused and offered me a "few chicken strips" because that's all they had. I asked her the name if her regional managers and she gave the name Amanda & said an executive manage would be there tomorrow. She continued to argue with me and justify they are closed and didn't care how long I'd been waiting in line. I advised her that there were several cars behind me that I'm sure would also be upset and left. I'm very upset about how I was treated at this establishment and Popeyes employees need to go through customer service training because how I was treated tonight and all the other cars waiting in line behind me was not right. They not once apologized to me or made me feel valued as a customer. Their "not my problem " attitude needs to be adjusted. Chick-fil-a next door would've never treated their customers that way. But I guess that's why they are a 5.5 billion dollar company while Popeyes stands at 946 million according to Bloomberg and Forbes. Step your game up Popeyes you've completely lost my business after...

DO NOT PATRON THIS POPEYES.!!!!!!

This is my 2nd review on this same store. The first one is below from 4 years ago. My wife went this time to purchase food and they can’t get that right. They messed up a simple spicey sandwich, by leaving off the bacon and cheese. When I called up there no one will answer.

Once again this has to be the worst fast food restaurant around here. It’s obvious that there is lack of training to work there(you would never see this type of service or behavior at Chick Fil A), and that the employees are only there for a paycheck.

Review below from 2019…

There is no way to indicate less than 1-star. This Popeyes does not even deserve that.

I must preface this with I never write reviews, but this has me soooo mad that I had to let people know how I feel about this particular Popeyes.

So my family decides that they would like Popeyes for dinner. So I drive up the street to the restaurant and decide to go in. When I walk up to the door, it is locked. No sign on the door. So I get in the long line of cars waiting in drive-thru. While waiting in line in the drive-thru I smell something that has died behind the Popeyes building.

When It’s my turn to order I explain that I have the coupons from the app. I tell the lady that I need 2- 3 piece chicken tenders. I also ask if I need to print out the coupons, because I had not done so. As I tried to explain the rest of my Order the employee tells me that it would probably be easier to order at the window.

When I finally make it to the window and explain my order AGAIN, the lady tells me that I can not use multiple coupons for one order, which I should have known. So when I ask to use a coupon For a 14-piece chicken meal for $22.99, the manager tells me that I needed the coupons from their app printed. I HAD ASKED HER IF I NEEDED THEM PRINTED WHEN I WAS IN THE DRIVE THRU.

I Tell the young lady that this is horrible customer service. Your Lobby is closed with no sign on the door stating why it is closed. She tells me that it’s closed for maintenance, their phones are not working correctly, there is a dead animal behind the building that smells horrible, and I waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes just to find out that I needed to print coupons, when I asked that same question earlier. And let’s not even start with the chicken sandwich that has not been available for weeks.

This Popeyes has been a horrible staple on...

I recently visited Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and overall, my experience was quite satisfactory. The store was clean and well-maintained, which immediately left a positive impression on me. The staff members were attentive and provided good service throughout my visit. One of the standout aspects of Popeyes was the cleanliness of the establishment. The floors were spotless, the tables were properly wiped, and the overall hygiene standards were evident. It's always reassuring to dine in a clean environment, and Popeyes delivered in that regard. The service at Popeyes was commendable. The employees were friendly and greeted me with a smile upon entering the restaurant. They promptly took my order and efficiently handled the other customers as well. They seemed well-trained and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the ordering process smooth and hassle-free. However, when it comes to the food itself, I have to say it was decent. While the taste was satisfactory, it didn't particularly stand out to me. I ordered their famous fried chicken, and while it was flavorful and crispy, I found it to be a bit greasier than I would prefer. The side dishes, such as the Cajun fries was decent but lacked a wow factor. Although the food wasn't bad by any means, it didn't quite exceed my expectations either. Despite the food being above average, the overall experience at Popeyes was still enjoyable. The combination of a clean store, good service, and decent food made it a satisfactory visit. I would recommend Popeyes to those who appreciate a clean and well-maintained dining environment and are looking for a quick and convenient fast-food experience.

All I can say is trust the reviews! I've lived in the area almost 5 years and this location is subpar at best. I don't trust to go through drive thru ever because your order will not be correct. As with most restaurants, some staff are nice and attentive while others are not. This visit started by someone coming in behind me complaining about an order she had to return after driving home from the drive thru. She looked at me and I asked, "Did you check the reviews before you came?" Of course she didn't and I felt really bad for her. When I placed my order they only had a few pieces of chicken ready to serve, I could totally see the cook in the back cooking another batch but when I asked how long ot would take, he acted as if he couldn't hear and yelled out 25 minutes. When I replied, I can wait, he then tells his co worker that it will only be a couple minutes till ready. I've been rooting for this location since moving to the area and have seen management teams change over and over but to be honest, I just think it's time to give up. Good thing there are way more options in the area now to choose from.

I really wanted to like this Popeyes. I had never been to any Popeyes so I finally wanted to try my local one. This is my third time coming here now and the first two times I went the signs were not even on. When I asked the girl why that was, she said they did not know how to turn it on. So I had to order my very first meal at Popeyes without a menu. Now fast forwarding to my third time, not a lot has improved. The signs are now on but the chicken sandwich bread was stale, the sweet tea was so sweet I did not finish it, and the staff seemed in a bad mood. Overall, very unimpressed with the conduct and quality of the restaurant as a whole. If you love Popeyes then maybe try one in Denton or Frisco.
