Whataburger — Restaurant in Cross Roads

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Whataburger in Crossroads, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Here's why I give Whataburger in Crossroads a solid four-star rating:

Delicious Burgers: The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the burgers. Whataburger knows how to craft a mouthwatering patty that's juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Whether you're a fan of their classic options or prefer to customize your own creation, you won't be disappointed. While I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Whataburger in Crossroads and highly recommend it, I believe there is always room for improvement. Although the food was excellent, I would appreciate more vegetarian options to cater to a wider audience. Additionally, expanding the dessert menu with more creative offerings would be a delightful addition.

I have never had this terrible of an experience at any other whataburger, and I will never return. My friend and I both have dietary restrictions, but nothing that cant be worked around, easily. Even when first placing an order in the drive through we were met with attitude and clear judgment, as she ordered a patty melt, no buns, extra cheese and an extra patty. I ordered a Cobb salad, specified No Meat, extra avocado with Ranch dressing and BBQ sauce. Once we got to the window he had us repeat the order (which was perfectly fine) we repeated EVERYTHING again I told him to please make sure there was no meat on the salad. We waiting a good 30 minutes before we got our food, once we got our food we hurried back to our job, so we could quickly eat before lunch break ended, I open my salad and first thing I see is bacon, then i notice there is absolutely no avocado, even though i was charged for extra. My friend opens her food to find there is no extra meat or cheese, when they were also charged for extra. Immediately I called the whataburger, and ask to speak to a manager, the woman I spoke with had no customer service skills, and was very rude, but she told us to just bring ths receipt by whenever and they'll remake it, which was fine. The next day we returned for them to remake the order, verified everything at the window multiple times to make sure everything would be correct, we were again met with attitude by the young man who was working, then the wait began, we were asked to pull forward, and watched for almost an hour as other people behind us got their orders, 7 people who arrived after us got their orders, almost an hour wait for a salad and 3 pieces of meat???? I will never return to this location, and I do not recommend...

I'm beyond happy to edit my review after giving this location another shot...and then another....and then another...because the were getting everything correct! It is my understanding that shortly after my last review, there were a lot of management changes at Whataburger, told to me by a very good friend who is now a regional manager for them. He gave me a lot of insight as to why everything had been so poor, and asked me to give them another shot.

I did....and I've been very satisfied each time I've been to this Whataburger since. I even called the restaurant and informed the manager that it's very obvious that things have changed and to keep up the good work. I feel if I'm going to complain about something to an establishment, I also need to provide them praise when they get it right. Otherwise, how do they know they've improved?

So Crossroads Whataburger, keep on doing a great job. The changes made have been fantastic. And make sure to give Ron a raise!!! That gentleman is a bright shining star for you. He's a huge asset to your restaurant!

Previous Review Jan 2022 1 star I wish I could rate this locations ZERO! Poorly managed, staff doesn’t seem to care about doing their jobs right. I had been boycotting this location since last year due to always getting cold food or wrong orders, but I decided to give them a shot in the new year. Nope. Ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese biscuits. Got sausage on both. Bag was marked correctly. Receipt correct. Called to report issue. Manager just kept saying sorry, and that is all. Nothing in how he will work on order accuracy with the staff. Will not being going back. Ever. Too many places to spend my money than this poorly run...
