This restaurant serves breakfast all day, and they do it very well! While the establishment itself is pretty small, the place seems very busy and the food is actually quite good. I stopped here while staying at the Cumber Mountain State Park. I needed coffee and so looked for a breakfast restaurant. This was not the closest, but it was near and it had a good rating and looked like it might be worth the trip. It was! I ordered the "Big Breakfast" plate, eggs (any way), a meat (I picked sausage), home fries (could sub hashbrowns), and bisquits and gravy (could sub toast). I added coffee and a large orange juice. All this came in at under $10! The service was friendly and fast. The food was great, but the home fries stood out and were exceptional. The biscuits and the gravy were likewise excellent. The eggs and sausage were a little over cooked, but not so much that they weren't enjoyable. They also make a descent cup of coffee! I hightly recommend this establishment. My friends and I will make it a point to eat here at least once, each time we visit the Park. Also - visit the "Book Cellar" nextdoor. It's Christian themed, but has a wide variety of new and used books of all subject.

Big disappointment. I was told by locals this is, by far, the best breakfast place in Crossville. Either I have high expectations or locals aren’t familiar with higher standards. First off, I walked in and was ignored. I had several waitresses walking past me and not one acknowledged me. I finally decided to ask one of them if I’m supposed to seat myself. I got a sarcastic response. I decided to order country fried steak and it is probably the thinnest steak I have ever ordered. The food is also very bland. My waitress was kind enough but she lacked checking on me. My drink sat empty and I wasn’t able to wash my food down. I was coughing because of it. Yet, nobody even noticed. To conclude, I won’t be back and I will not be recommending this place to others either.

Very small diner. Friendly waitress. Looked clean. But the food. My GOD! Has ANYONE in this place ever heard of seasonings? This was the worst meal I've had in a long time. I ordered the pork chop breakfast. Eggs were ok. Potatoes were basic. But the pork chop was bland, tough, and tasted almost spoiled. It was like chewing a hard rubber duck. The biscuits were good but the sausage gravy was flavorless. My husband had the Flounder. Again, BASIC. But those pinto beans. They were GRAY!!! JUST HORRIBLE! To be fair, the apple juice was good. I will never go here again. But they probably won't be in business long anyway. Unless this is what and how they round these parts!

Well.., we tried it again :( Let's start with service, the place was not full..empty coffee cup sat until the food was brought.., got an, "Oh, let me fill that." Over medium eggs still had running whites..yech. When ordering I asked why one pancake was $4.00.., she explained it was pretty big. What she didn't say was that it was also pretty bad.., it was like eating a stale cake that crumbled! Even the syrup had a weird aftertaste. Though 90% of the pancake was left on the plate, was never asked if there was an issue. Saving grace was that my wifes patty melt was done as requested and very good as were her frence fries. Maybe it's just breakfast items.., Other places to eat locally and will pass on this place nor...
