Im a regular at the McDonald's on Main in Crowley. I get 6 large fries almost every single day for my autistic son. Since the pandemic I've used curbside pickup or Uber/Doordash. Today I had an issue with my uber driver. She actually picked up the wrong order and left it at my front door but I caught her before she left. I told her the order was incorrect. I knew it was wrong without touching it because there was a drink and plus the bag was too small to contain 6 large fries. She tells me its what they gave her but she'll take it back and pick up the right order. I say "Thank you, and I'll increase your tip since you have to go back". She leaves and I call McDonald's to give them a heads up. They had already figured out the mistake and said they would have fresh fries waiting. About 5 minutes later I get a call from McDonalds manager asking me for my address because the uber driver returned to drop off the food and as they were packaging up the fresh fries she just drivers away. 🤔🙄SERIOUSLY??? Anyhow... the manager said she was sending someone over to me with the fries right away and would not stop apologizing. Literally 4 minutes later my doorbell rings and its them with my fries. Now as upset as I am with the uber driver at this moment, I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from McDonald's. She didn't have to do what she did. I did notify uber about the experience in which they gave me a full refund. I called McDonald's back to pay for the order and the manager said "absolutely not". Read moreI used to LOVE this location. The lady who was there at breakfast always called me hun and was so nice. The drive through has 2 guys who are still great. The guy with the TV host voice and the taller guy who was out sick for a week but the others now are terrible. I cant even get one word out of my mouth and the guy says in a monotone voice anything else?? I'm like please give me a minute and I promise I will tell you when I'm done. I now NEVER go there if im ordering more than 2 items because they will have me pull over and wait for my food then bring me the wrong thing twice before getting me my food and if I don't insist on getting my sauce before pulling over I won't get it. And now the orders are starting to be wrong and I have to send it back before I leave. I just went through and ordered a fish sandwich with extra tartar sauce and the receipt reflects that but I barely got any tartar sauce (pics included) and they have started giving 1/2 slices of cheese but still charge for a full slice. I think I will be taking a break from here for a few months or indefinitely.... So a year after my original review of this place and I have now dropped it to 1 star. This was the 3rd visit in 3 weeks that there was no toy in my kids happy meal. I called to tell them and the manager said he would tell his staff to check better next time.. Lights are always off after dark, no lights on menu board in drive thru. The food is always not fresh, i got 10 min old fries after they parked me and i said i would park , long as my fries are fresh. They said ok. They were not. They were shriveled up and cold. Your employees don't have the since of urgency or multitask. Ray Croc would not be happy with how this place is run. Seeing employees. And never any Managers . Quality of the food isn't as good as it should be. I got a frape one day and they didn't even fill up to the line and whip topping was at the top if cup abd not the dome. Your employees are not very friendly i have only seen 3 people with great Customer service all the others treat you like your an inconvenience. Back in my day and even now i would run circles around these crew members. 15 yrs McDonalds abd 13 yrs Arbys supervisor . I trained so many people . your Training program is seriously lacking. .
