Starbucks — Restaurant in Crystal Lake

If I could give this place zero stars I would. every time I visit this store, there’s always an issue. so for the longest time I’ve been avoiding this store. But for some reason, I decided to make a quick stop to pick up a few coffees for myself and others because it was on my way to where I was going. I made sure I had the orders perfectly clear so there would be no issues. I read my final coffee order from the Starbucks receipt that’s typed up by a barista to the barista that was taking my order. And she looked at me very confused and asked the other baristas if she could do that. She then tells me they can’t do it like that and if they did, it would have to be rung up as a latte, but they’re going to make an exception today. I wasn’t looking to argue. I was only looking to get my coffee and get out as quickly as I can because I knew there was going to be an issue. I don’t understand why other locations have no issues typing out this order and I know they don’t ring it up as a latte because I watch them when they put the order in to make sure it’s correct. But of course, every time I visit this location, they tell me they can’t do it like that. They tell me it needs to be run up differently or they don’t even read the sticker and make the coffee...

Ordered a clod brew coffee, it wasn't cold brew. Even if it was their regular coffee it was burnt and nasty. I went back inside to get a refund. They had 7 people behind the counter, one register open, with 2 people in line, it took them 10 minutes before I could get my refund. The person who could do a refund started my refund, and walked away half way through. At no point was I asked what the problem was. they didn't try to fix it, say sorry anything. Instead they dismissed me completely. I get that you have a handful of minutes to make an impression. The Crystal Lake location on 14 serves low quality coffee almost as low quality as...

Ordered 2 venti drinks, got to the window paid. Cashier tried to hand us smaller sized drinks which we pointed out that they weren't the size we ordered. Cashier had them remake our drinks to the correct size. While waiting for the correct size he voided our payment then asked for our payment again because it was incorrectly rang up and it was going to be more money. I have no problem paying the correct amount but the attitude with no apology for their mistake wasn't needed. Plus the drinks didn't taste like they normally do. Ended up only drinking maybe a 1/3 of it...
