We stopped in today on impulse to grab a pizza and there was a bit of a crowd in the lobby. There was one gentleman waiting for his order, and an absolutely obnoxious woman hounding the poor kid behind the counter (while her mortified son looked on in silence) about the hot’n’ready menu and what it did or didn’t include. The gentleman running the register, who we later found out was named Brandon, did an exceptional job of keeping his cool while this woman was an absolute jerk to him. Having worked in service for almost 20 years and honed my personal patience to an impressive strength, I’m not sure I could’ve kept as calm as he was in this situation. He kept politely explaining to her that they had an array of things ready to go, just not the specific item she wanted. He offered more than once to get the item she wanted started right away and that it would only take a few minutes, but she just kept arguing the specifics of the menu board with him and my fiancée and I were beyond irritated with her (and we were just bystanders). After she made a big deal about ONLY getting her cheesy bread instead of the pizza she wanted (first-world problems) she finally left. Everyone within earshot let out a sigh of relief and we finally were able to order. In spite of the theatrics, the two fellas running the counter (the other one was Dalton) were cordial, friendly, and incredibly professional. These dudes were a shining example of grace under pressure, and they had our pizza done super quick.
People only speak up when they’re mad these days and it’s a shame. Brandon and Dalton, thanks for making our day today and for killing that weird lady with kindness when I probably would’ve told her where she could stick that cheesy bread….
We will...
Read morePLEASE READ**I purchased a $40 gift card from this location as a Christmas present for someone. It got declined, saying there were 0 funds on it. The manager said the employee did not load the card correctly, taking responsibility. Even after this, it took multiple calls to the CL store, the regional manager, Little Caesars corporate, text messages to the store manager and regional manager, and at least 5 hours on the phone to finally get them to ONLY give me a refund for the card. I was offered a "free pizza and some crazy bread" as reimbursement for my personal time spent, just to get my money back. AWFUL organization and customer service. If this post gets only 1 person to use another pizza company I've accomplished my goal. I asked for a complimentary $40 gift card for all my time and energy spent to get what I paid for, and that was met with instant declines and the regional manager (KP Patel) eventually not picking up my calls or returning my texts. PLEASE use Pizza Hut, Domino's, Papa Johns, Papa Murphys, or anyone else. It took from Dec. 26th until Jan. 16th for me to receive a call to just come back to the store for a refund. TERRIBLE organization and...
Read moreRUDE. Ordered 2 pizzas, one delivered that wasn’t either of the ones ordered. The store manager told us if the delivery driver came back he could pick up the correct pizzas. The driver looked like he was 18-19 years old and graciously waited during the speaker phone convo with the manager. He agreed to go back to pick up the corrected order. When he returned, he saw both of our pizzas sitting behind the counter. When he tried to explain that the order was right there, the cashier kept telling him it wasn’t her fault and got very argumentative. Then the manager would only give him one of the two pizzas sitting on the shelf before telling the kid to get out of his store. That poor kid called us from the store because he was so surprised the manager refused to give him the order like he said he would during the phone conversation. Ultimately, the driver delivered one of the pizzas we paid for and told us it was the rudest thing he has experienced so far as a delivery driver. I get it, if I expected it to be perfect every time, I’d go pick it up myself. Don’t take it out on the kid trying to do his job correctly and graciously correcting...
