Jamba — Restaurant in Crystal Lake

I am so mixed with my judgement with my first visit to this store. I am a fellow business owner in crystal lake, as well as had a previous career in restaurant management. I want to be clear my experience by far was the best! Great drinks, great service, I told the host hat I wanted and I was given a recommendation and I loved it and so did my wife!....however, a big red flag to restaurant safety. The whole floor was half wet with no caution signs. I was careful and I have bo problem. But, if anyone else other than me walked in, greedy sue happy individuals would have destroyed this location if someone got hurt. Need to do a refresh of training and reminders of restaurant safety before someone smells a lawsuit...I sent an email on the website, my hope is they will respond Soni can help I will post update if...

Ordered my normal peanut butter moo’d smoothie I get on a regular basis and noticed the last few times the smoothie is either way to watery or like the photos shown way to thick to where nothing comes out as hard as you try to drink it. It was so thick, I left it in the cup holder of my car and went to throw it away the following day to notice the texture was still super thick so I left it on my counter for a day to see if it melted or not. Well it didn’t melt and the nasty stuff starting foaming out the top of my lid and is super hard now while the stuff in the cup is still super thick. Never had this happen before and I’m curious as to why this did this but never get any answers when I even ask why it’s never made the same every time I order it. I think it’s time for a break...

It saddens me to rewrite this review.

Ordered ahead though the app & always tip 25% or more. 3 peanut butter crunch. sandwiches, 1 vegetarian burrito, 3 packaged cookies ( already in the wrapper), 1 smoothie.

I asked if that was my order on the counter ( behind the cash register)? And rather than responding with a yes or no and looking at the order, the girl served 4 other customers for a total of 5 smoothies.

It seems like Alyssa and her female coworker choose who to serve rather than completing an order on a first come first served basis.

I definitely won't be tipping again.

Although the order was exactly on time. This was the first occasion where it wasn't done...
