How is this place still even in business? 3rd chance I'd of given it and even a different location. 1st time they just opened and sucked. Tried some time later still sucked. Crew doesn't seem to care about anything. 2nd time restaurant was super dirty. Today, I apprehensively ordered and right off, the kid on the phone seemed completely clueless. Thought we finally had it figured out after what seemed like a miscomunication, how I wanted a chicken sandwhich, tenders and fries, but somehow me wanting fries turned my order into a $30 order with a chicken tender meal for 2 once I reviewed pricing online after the call and discovered this. On the phone I expressly clarified that I would only have 4 items, Sandwhich, tenders, fries, drink. He said yes but then gave me $28 for the price. I called back to ask if this was the case. He said yes and I asked how did conclude I wanted a meal for 2? He asked if I wanted to cancel. Cancelled. Like, how the f&#* did he think I wanted a $20 meal for 2? I'm sure the food would have been no better than the last 2 times. Last chance blown....
Read moreI recieved my order and there were several small pieces that were counted as a "boneless wing" but I was willing to look past that because the chicken was good. The dry pieces appeared fresh, they were crisp and warm but the wet pieces could have been "leftovers". However, the problem was with the fries, usually really good, but they were cold so I called the store and Susan(I'm sure that wasn't her real name) told me I should expect them cold they are not suppose to stay warm through delivery and that I should just microwave them. She was adamant that my expectation of hot/ warm food upon delivery was incomprehensible. What? Expect my delivery cold, she was very matter of fact and just like get over it. I usually take the drive to the Carpentersville location and have not been disappointed. I know you may think, it's only fries, it was the attitude of "Susan" that was appalling, total disregarded my concerns over my order. Called the store and was told it's door dashes problem. Called door dash and they said the store needs to correct the matter.
Been on the phone with 5 different people now just to sort out the matter and get our food. Our food was not going to be remade for us, and IF the dasher still had the original order it'd been cold by this point.
Finally door dash managed to get our refund. Wingstop was beyond unhelpful, and we will not be ordering from this...
