I’ve been visiting Crystal River for years and I first saw the cute little gem just before the Covid lockdown so I wasn’t able to go inside. I was up there this past weekend and was looking for a place for breakfast with my sister when I remembered Amy’s. I so glad we went. We entered and were greeted by their wonderful staff who made us feel like we were family. The decor is is absolutely stunning as they’re also a boutique with some of the most beautiful and tasteful gifts and treasures. It’s decorated for the holidays and it really gave us that warm holiday feeling. I ordered the avocado toast and it was mouth watering good, which is something I rarely say. The bread was fresh, thick and perfectly toasted and was topped with herbed cheese, spring greens, avocado with a drizzle of honey. My sister had the BLT croissant and loved hers equally as much. The owners use quality product and you can absolutely tell they care about their customers. We took two slices of cake to go. Their hummingbird cake and key lime. My sister said she was going to share, but we both love our cake so much that we decided to keep our own. Value for dollar, this is spot on. Make sure to stop by because you will not be...

Everybody we met was lovely, they do have a strict no avocado toast policy. They will only serve the avocado toast for breakfast, when asked if we could order this at noon, the server was very positive, it was explained that a very ill man with stomach issues, just got home from the hospital just really wanted the avocado toast, after days of being nauseas and throwing up, he asked if we could just bring back the avocado toast, the server was understanding and said should not be a problem, we ordered our lunch, delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, then the server came back and says, no exceptions, avocado toast was strictly a breakfast item. When we went to pay for our lunch, we brought up the avocado toast and she was very sweet and said, that should not be a problem, she came back with the same response as the server, strict no avocado toast policy, it’s only a breakfast item. I’m sorry to say, this did not seem like too much to ask but there is definitely an employee that lacks compassion and understanding in regards to having a sick man just requesting a simple item like toast with avocado. We will...

We ordered a regular American coffee with Hazelnut and a macchiato. Both as hot beverages as it was very cold the day of the festival when we were at Amy's. They had five girls behind the counter with a coffee was none of which paid much attention to us. After they paid attention to us I don't think that this woman needed to be there, when you're paying over $5 or coffee and she can't make coffee. A waste of money. The brownie that my husband ordered was hard and not particularly fresh the color of the chocolate was like it was refrigerated for a while. So we got two coffees like I said one regular coffee and a brownie and our bill was $26. I did not leave a tip. I am really tired of money that I work really hard for go to somebody else who they are working for hopefully getting paid a decent wage. Perhaps they're not but in any case the management and the owner needs to know that the place is not well run you need to have coffee Baristas who really need to know how to make a good cup of coffee. And you need to bake your goods fresh. Or reduce your prices or don't surf coffee...

Adorable little cafe in crystal river. I love that they have outdoor seating in a private patio area. I posted the menu in the comments. Very cafe style foods consisting of sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. they serve coffees and mimosas as well! The server was quick and attentive, and answered any questions I had. My friend ordered a hummus appetizer, BLT entree, and mimosa. The hummus was very good! It did need a few more slices of pita to be able to eat all of the hummus. I also ordered a BLT, as well as an Amy's cookie and slice of hummingbird cake to go. BLT was delicious, came with pickle and chips. When I got home I tried the cake and it was soooooo good. My lord it was delicious. The cookie sounded like it would be sweet but def wasn't. It has chocolate, macadamia nuts, and coconut in it. On the way out I caved and got two truffles. They are kinda pricey, but very good. There is a cute little shop attached to the cafe as well! Overall I would def come back. I thought it was adorable, the food was good, and the prices were fair. Cute little downtown spot!

Perfect lunch spot! Lots of seating, bathroom is clean, staff are fast and knowledgeable. We loved the Cobb and Avenue salads. The menu also has a good variety so we look forward to coming back and trying a new dish. What really makes Amy's stand out is the downtown location next to other shops and the wonderful display of desserts to choose from! Update: We had Amy's breakfast this morning for the first time! We were welcomed and seated immediately on the back patio. Our food came out within minutes and it was hot & fresh. If you like sweet breakfast, the cinnamon roll is the way to go (sooooo good!). We also tried the bacon & cheddar quiche which did leave a little something to be desired. I wish it had a crust or even a bit more seasoning. The breakfast menu pricing is very affordable for the quality. Overall we will keep coming back to this great local spot.
