Chris's Hamburgers — Restaurant in Cudahy

This place is nostalgic for me. As a barely old enough to remember child and well into my adult years I was not only a die hard fan, but heavily recommended it to people; including visitors from out of state/country planning a visit to the Los Angeles Area. Though I understand fully that goods and services prices must rise with the times, I have found that the price, coupled with the slight drop in quality and quantity of the meal itself have hindered a place I held so dear. I am willing to pay the price for food that would have maintained the integrity of the quality ingredients served before, but that has fallen a bit short from days past. I purchased a chicken sandwich and green salad today (02/05/2023) through drive thru. When I got home, I was surprised the chicken sandwich came with burger bread. I don’t know if this is the standard way of making their chicken sandwich, but was disappointed it looked like a plain burger. I was very upset, when I took a bite and the chicken was not fully cooked, it was Kind of raw inside. Due to other matters, I didn’t have the chance to go back to let them know; however, I called the number found in google 3xs, but nobody answer the call and VM was full. It soo sad... I had been coming here since I was 6 with family and friends I'm 32 now...and damn the new workers either don't care or Chris's has lost their touch. When you call they don't answer properly any more they stay quiet or wait till they hear a confused voice saying hello and Don't even proceed to say Chris's they just say uhuh..like oh ok we now answering like it's your damn house, ok.. so their phone etiquette has gone out the window. And the sauce that makes them unique is no longer the same it's flavorless. Also they haven't gotten the orders done correctly &🥲 this wasnt the first time so I finally had to say something because I will no longer be coming here.
