Tasty Goody — Restaurant in Cudahy

Food is good and still priced appropriately. I often get the chicken bowls for lunch and every once in a while I’ll get a 2 item combo, orange chicken, beef broccoli, jalapeño chicken, kung pao are all good. and never had an issue. Service is always pretty quick. I also like the new spot it’s cleaner.

I see a lot of bad reviews about the customer service and let me just say this because I’m one of the very few asians that work in South Gate that This is NORMAL for authentic Chinese food culture. They aren’t trying to be disrespectful to you that’s just how it is, I’ve been to authentic Chinese restaurants and been to China! that’s just how it is, why? I don’t know I’m American and I don’t like it either but judge the food not the server. You want 5 star service go to a Americanized restaurant not a fast food joint. It’s one thing if the food is bad but it never has been at least for me. Too many people crying because they weren’t served like a king/queen at a Chinese fast food, ridiculous. Panda Express is down the street I’m sure they will smile at you if you need that much validation.

Wow… lady so rude… went in to ask about the party tray. I said hello and she answered with “what” that threw me off but I continued with saying Im would like to know about prices and size of tray she looks at me and just points to her pack and say “only one size” I look and don’t see anything trays so I say yes what size is that she annoying say “only one size and point to her back again I look and the other lady is trying to pull a tray out to show me… she gives it to her and she just slams it in front of my and repeats “one size” and begins to tell me the prices… she looks at me and say “is that it” with attitude I was in disbelief so I said yes that is all thank you and walked away… so not buying from...

So very disappointed in today’s service. I’ve been coming here for years and have never had an issue. The ONE time I have even complained about something, which it was for my food being extremely cold, the nasty lady yelled at me and tossed my already eaten food back on the hot bar.
