Worst curbside pickup experience. This is the second time we've had this same exact issue. We purchased through curbside and enter the car but for some reason the app doesn't keep the car information to put on the receipt. Of course that is an issue with the app not with this location. It's still annoying but that's not their fault. What is their fault is how they handle this issue.
This time my husband waited at curbside pickup for about half an hour (the last time it was about 40 minutes) before he reached out to an employee. He asked someone who was sweeping about his order status. Her response was to say it was probably the order sitting on the counter and then she walks away but doesn't assist further. The whole point of curbside pickup is so you don't have to go inside.
My husband had to go inside to find out about the order. There was only one order there and my husband's car was the only one there for majority of the half hour. My husband asks the employee about this and he simply says that they don't pay attention to parking lot even if there is an order sitting there for half an hour. They only take the orders out that have a car listed on the receipt regardless of there being an issue with the app.
I called the location and it literally took 6 calls before someone answered. Turns out that employee my husband spoke to was the manager. He did not seem to have any concern about a car waiting for half an hour or how they handle curbside pickups without cars listed on the receipt. He basically said it's not their problem and they don't take any effort to take orders out if they don't show the car details and they will also not go to the cars in the curbside pickup spots to ask if the order is theirs. He didn't even say anything about there clearly being an issue with the app and maybe they should take that into consideration on how they handle curbside pickups moving forward.
The food was obviously cold and the cold foam that we paid extra for was gone and mixed into the drink. It's bad enough this happened once but it happening a second time, the employee sweeping not being helpful at all, and then the manager responding the way he did just made...
Read moreI am a regular here but I’m never coming back. I’ve also never written a bad review because I am in the food & beverage industry so i understand the struggle. I had the most unprofessional and rude experience from the staff today. I am pregnant and can only have one shot of espresso in my drink. I always clearly order it that way, and there is never an issue. The kid at the counter today was already very rude for no reason when I clarified that fact about the espresso. Not only did he not notify the person making the drink, he also charged me for an added shot. Mistakes are understandable. When I walked up to the counter after looking at my receipt, i was ignored until he finally asked me what was up. I told him that I only wanted one shot, he then ignored me again and went to tell the girl making the drink. I saw the looks they were giving each other and then she asked me in an awful rude tone “what’s wrong with it?!” when she hadn’t even made the drink yet lol. I told her there was nothing wrong I just only ordered one shot, she scoffed and asked if I wanted a refund for the shot and I never got one. I gave up at that point because all 3 staff members were super rude the whole time. To top it off my boyfriend gets his drink that he ordered with cream, but got no cream and no ice. I didn’t even want him to have them re make it bc it was already so uncomfortable and wanted to leave. But he did and they poured cream on top, handed it back overflowing all over his hands and the counter. At this point I insisted we leave immediately and never come back. I am very patient because I have been a server for 7 years but this was too much, it really felt like they saw me as a nuisance and not as a customer. It seemed like they were going out of their way to mess up my boy friends drink. I opened the bag when I got home and they gave me the wrong egg bites. the manager who usually works there is super...
Read moreWent there this morning, and the one cashier on hand was helping a customer put together 3 dozen donuts. Meanwhile, the line of customers was to the door. The barista was cleaning and preparing for the next order to come down the pike (whenever that shall be), the "cook" was restocking muffins, and Manager Ivan was swirling coffee in the coffee pots, then he came out the the lobby area to restock the napkins, straws, and stirrers, he then went back behind the counter and was fooling with some barista equipment (I couldn't see), before finally putting on some gloves and proceeding to take the next customer's order. Mind you, the barista had already "stepped up" and asked the customer could he get his drink ordered started, which is way more help than Manager Ivan was providing. When it was my turn, I asked him if he was the manager, "yes". I then asked why would you have only one cashier and a lobby full of customers. (At least two left because of this ridiculousness.) Manager Ivan said that the other cashier was on break. When I asked why didn't he step in, he proceeded to tell me that CA law requires that he give employees a break, and that all else (i.e., restocking) was part of what he had to do. I don't doubt that, but I seriously doubt the Dunkin' Donuts Corporation would have you put restocking before providing service to your customers. I arrived at Dunkin this morning a little past 7:30am. All donut shops are busy at this hour, and should have been stocked accordingly to prepare for the early morning rush. VERY poor service, and an even more unprofessional manager. A simple, "I apologize for the wait" would have been sufficient, instead of the rude, defensive, unapologetic attitude I received. Also a side note, my receipt says the cashier is Martyna O. which it indeed was not. I'm sure Ivan shouldn't be working under another persons number. He definitely needs more training...
